They aren't removing the Sunwheel, just changing it. I believe that it'll now have a "disney" character face on it instead of a sun.

I can't wait to see the Little Mermaid ride....I know they have said that it'll be a "dark" ride.

What's everyone doing for the weekend?

OOOO! Posted at the same exact minute as Miss RJ!!

Weekend...hummm...well, DH is supposed to come home & mow this afternoon so we can finish our outside decorating. (No point putting everything out in the yard in his way first.) We're supposed to have our annual neighborhood Halloween Hayride / bonfire at the local orchard on Sat. night BUT it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow so me thinks it's not going to happen. Need to finish DS's costume (yes, still....I've only TALKED about finishing it). Ummm...swimming for DS on Sat afternoon and Sun morning. Once a month this swim club has a combined practice with their Sr. Competition team - so the first one is Sunday morning...the older kids will work on starts, turns & technique with DS's group. Redskins game is away this weekend...so DH will be home all day on Sunday. LOL...

Tomorrow we have 2 soccer games, then my cousins wedding at night. I figured out there has not been a wedding in my family since mine 13 years ago. Ironically there are a ton of us. So, that will be a nice night out....open bar for cocktail hour. Then again, you guys don't live up here so thats probably not a big deal.

Oh and Sunday we have the annual Halloween Parade, which thankfully our school is not doing a float this year. Even if we arent in it, its still like a holiday around here. In fact, I got this from Facebook...a "You know you're from Woburn if" thing... 25. Halloween Parade was also a big day. However, this was an adult holiday to get "extra drunk". (I had to change 1 word to get through the filter)

Hey all!

Soccer tomorrow 9:30 - BLECK. Hate those early games. Then off to the ranch at some point for FIL birthday dinner.

And its official - even though we bought this house 8 years ago, are fiscally responsible, and have not pulled any equity out, we are being told if we sell in this market with fees and ect. WE WILL TAKE A LOSS. How does Gert feel about this? IT TOTALLY SOX!! We are responsible peeps who work hard not waste too much $$ on things other than Disney Cruises - DH gets the opprotunity he has been waiting many years for and we cannot afford to dump this house and move so he can take advantage of it. Whoever said "Life is not fair" might have been on to something.



Ok rant over. sorry. Just think it blows. And the govt isn't going to come bail me out. We did everything right and are gonna end up taking it you know where for our responsibility.

OK rant really over.

SE - has it slowed down for ya yet with the new DCL bookings? Have any goat lately? I think we are due for some...although I have a coupon for Baja Fresh...LOVE that salsa fixin's bar they got ya know! CONDIMENTS! I am the condiment QUEEN!

OK, I am apparently ALL ALONE out here so I will just talk to myself.

We had a GORGEOUS day today (mid-upper 60's) and sounds like it may well be our last one until spring. So after DS's swim practice & lunch I went outside to finish futzing with the Halloween decorations. Then I pulled out the old hip boots and got in the pond to clean out the floating plants and cut down the lillies & stuff (the water temp was 57). The filter really needed to be cleaned and it had actually stopped running a few days ago but so I just unplugged it until I could get out there to clean it. I debated about just shutting it ALL the way down but decided to plug it back in for a few days to clear up the water. It was so murky after I futzed in it that I couldn't even see the fish!!! So I am hoping for another decent weekend NEXT weekend and I'll finish shutting it down. DH helped me cover it with the net to keep varmits and debris out. It's so sad to see all the plants gone from it. But I cannot let my pump & filters freeze. It is supposed to get really cold for the next couple of nights but I think it will not freeze up entirely.

We also covered up the patio furniture & stuff today too. So sad to look outside now...

Well, I got some more "stuff" to do...just trying to keep us off of page 2 again! TTYL

i am here..we have a cold front blowing in right now..hasn't been above 80 all day and now the humidity is dropping..tomorrow will be very dry and nice..can't wait!

Had a busy day today..church, made a pot of tortilla soup and a chocolate truffle bread
I also finished my remake of my bouquet..i think it came out pretty cool and it is now in the vase on the mantle

Very nice Betsy! Funny, I misread your post and thought you were talking about pot and tequilla. Its been a rough weekend.

As Cam said he finally won a game! He got the assist on the game winning goal and had a breakaway to the net, right when the final whistle blew. This is him, number 10 in white.

And here is Colt going for the ball. he only lost 5-0 so it was pretty good.

Wedding was a lot of fun...Katie and open bar don't mix well though.

Today we did the parade thing, watched it with my nieces, but Cam went with his friend...hes getting so old. They did have his friend's older sister with them, but still this was his first time going out without an adult. Then we all went to my parents house for KFC dinner. This is a silly tradition we started once and it hasnt stopped, KFC for dinner on parade day.

Right now I am completely zonked. I think my whole family is delirious right about now. What an exhausting weekend.

Ophie and I returned from our long planned WDW trip. Everyone had a wonderful time. We are kind of tired from chasing the 3 year old around but it was great. The decorations for Halloween were stupendous as usual but we did not go to MNSSHP. The crowds were higher than I expected. A lot of kids had the week off for fall break. I guess a lot of schools that started school in Early August had the end of their first semester or something. But we used fast pass well and didn't wait too long for anything other than characters. Ophie has a great pic to share of the length of time for Toy Story Mania in the standby line. You will all bug out.... Anyway, I will slow but surely retrace back to what everyone has written. Just wanted to say hi.

Gert....by the way, have you talked to a realtor or two about the asking price that you would have to use to sell your house? Well, maybe Stymie could use Bob's room while you are waiting for the house to sell....LOL!
