Thanks to my sweet, patient daughter, I can log in today. I Posted on Sat. that we had a nice day with Katy and the temp was supposed to be 91. Well guess what, it was 96! I tried to post on Mon. to tell you all and it said I wasn't allowed. I tried all week to fix it and wasn't able. Instead, I took my frustrations out on the sewing machine and have made a dress for Betsy and Rick's VR. You might say I am not really computer savey, but I can run a mean sewing machine. Love to sew. Let's review-I love to clean house, , read, sew clothing and needlework. Makes for a busy retirement. Oh yes, I love to read all of your posts

OMG THAT is so-o funny, Gertrude!! And the lightbulb thing is crackin' me up!! Too funny! DH has no recollection of where those are kept!! We just went thru this a couple of weeks ago - and he will also leave the old bulb just lying there! The old one never gets thown away! Someone out there must know my DH!!!! This affliction is also applicable to dead batteries in our house!! He is also one of those who will eventually empty the dishwasher and then leave all of the cabinet doors open when he's done.

Annie- sometimes you just have to throw things out there to 1) see who spits Coke on their computer monitor first (TRM wins!) and 2) see who picks it up and runs with it (I am sorely disappointed in Bean, TZM and Bets. They are usually good for at least a page of comebacks. Losing their touch, they are)

Didn't hear anything...we got our deposit on the 9th too...are they bouncing?

Just got home from swimming...only 2 more clinics next week then he's done until his aqua camp week in July. Tues. is his science fair so he has to decide if he will pull his stuff early in order to make swimming on time. But he has come along way with this swim program - I am pleased with his progress. They don't have the clinics over the summer so now to decide if we keep him in the clinic again next fall for another session or go for the competition team. The teams are really expensive. I need to find out more about how that works - if they need evaluated first or what. I think he would prefer to stay in the clinic for another session...but I guess I will ask the instructors next week what they recommend. They have made a lot of progress with the kids but they're really just HS swimmers themselves... Do I take their word / advice on what to do? I don't want to dump $800 into one team session if he's not ready yet. That would just frustrate him if he's an underdog with it. Another time or two in the clinics and I KNOW he'll be ready for competition. Decisions, decisions...

OK, off to get a cocktail and watch some TIVO'd stuff...
