malpractice insurance has gotten completely out of hand. It's a big reason my step-dad is quitting ortho surgery. When he was in a big, active practice with 4 other docs, their malpractice insurance was almost $1,000,000/yr. But, then that was back when doctors made a lot of money. Now the insurance companies make the money and the docs get about 1/2 of what they used to.
I'm such an idiot. The jobs out there are few & far between, right. Today I read thru ALL of the new jobs posted in the past 3 days on both Monster and WashingtonPost.com in about 1 hour. That's not cool. So 99% of the time I read the ads very thoroughly before I respond. WELL, apparently not to this one. I think it had been an especially slim week that week (I only sent 3 resumes that whole week) so out of desperation, I emailed a resume to this AA job at Peapod (it's a home delivery grocery service). They called awhile ago to schedule an interview for Wed. so I put on my happy face and perky voice and said SURE! I'm still interested! THEN after we hang up I pull out the ad and re-read it....
The last sentence says "strong Excel experience and above average knowledge of Access is essential".
OOPS! I don't have a clue about Access! I have never used it, ever! So I am in a panic. I did a *69 and tried to call her back to fess up and it just went to a general mailbox. So I left a msg. asking for her to call and now I have to hope someone actually checks the voicemail on it...otherwise I'm going on an interview on Wed. that will be a waste of her time (more practice for me but a waste of time)! 
He has a group of friends he plays pirates with.
They are well now throughout the land as a scurvy lot and ruthless sinkers of ships. But I digress. This is a virtual world where the rules do not allow you to share too much personal info - name, address, phone numbers, etc. So this pirates crew is wondering how they will all find each other if and when the game shuts down.
OK so VMK is closing. And DH plays from work.
DH tells them DW is a DIS member! They ask him to join the other fansite. So he does.
Well I log in to DIS today and scroll down to the DCL thread, on my way browsing the Disneyland/California/The West section and WHAT DO I SEE!!??

OK, so I made us a door sign for the Pirate Nights (since we have 2 nights I left the dates off) but I am having trouble getting it onto Shutterfly in a full size crop. I think it's got to do with a combination of me screwing around with the "canvas size" and "image size" to make it 8.5x11 for printing here at home AND that Shutterfly thinks it's a real photograph and doesn't recognize that it's something else but it thinks it's too grainy to go beyond 5x7 so it's messing with my cropping once I upload it. Anyway...I "borrowed" Captain Hook from that door sign thread...what do ya think?!
