Worked on a prize to put in the FE's today....it's gettin' there. Still toodling around on it.... Hint - it's gonna be homemade but it ain't gonna be sewed and it ain't cookies or cactus jelly or whatever that stuff is that Cheri's makin'!!

Hey Betsy - next time you go to Buca Di Beppo try the Shrimp & Scallops Orzo! I make a version of this at home now (but usually just with shrimp 'cuz I can hardly ever catch scallops on sale) - it's really tasty!

Cheri's not makin' nuthin' - The only time I've ever even laid eyes on pickled cactus is in the Phoenix airport. It was right next to the scorpion lollipops.

Where were you are 3:45 this morning when one of the doors "opened" in my house, setting off the trill/alarm notification and keeping us all awake for the rest of the night? would have played with you then. Powerful thing that adrenaline. Better than coffee.

said door was locked. I check every single door before I go to bed every night. Our alarm system "trills" every time a door or window is opened anywhere in the house. The "bad" door trilled yesterday afternoon so I didn't set the alarm last night just in case - if it decided to malfunction again during the night, it would have set the alarm off (scaring the beejeezus out Cassie, tiggering a call to the alarm co who is ready to send police). So, when I heard the trill it still scared me to death. good thing I didn't have to pee. Alarm co. can't come out until tomorrow. Tonight might be another interesting night. You can't just ignore a trill 'cuz you never know if it could be an icky guy comin' after the $14.27 I have in my wallett.
