Good Morning Everyone!

Anne - when is the wedding!? Glad the dress is A-OK.

Ho hum. Going to the ranch for a night. Want to spend a good hour ignoring this computer and picking up this house before we go.

Everyone have a great day!

Oh no! That is definitely melt down material, Anne. Yikes! Glad it all worked out. I heard something recently on tv, they were doing packing tips. This was right before my trip so I paid attention. ;) They said if you pack clothes in the palstic cleaner bags, or even in plastic wrap (I guess like saran wrap), they wont wrinkle because they are moving/sliding on the plastic and dont stay in 1 place long enough to wrinkle. I dont know if thats true, but thats what they said. ;)

Hehehe...funny Annie!

oh darn annie..i am sorry!! I feel so bad for not back reading!! Here I am complaining about my stupid office, and that was your day!!

*SMACKS HEAD*
STUPID,STUPID STUPID BETSY!!!

Guess what I just purchased!!!!!!!!

Got Kimmy & I 2 tickets to see Rascal Flatts/Taylor Swift in concert :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

Hey ya'll... Worked on my resume all morning. Almost got it ready to go. It's a really tight fit now tho to add a whole new job onto it - I am still tweaking the margins. Not that I've had a lot of jobs, I haven't - only 4, I'm just old and have done a lot of STUFF at the jobs that I have had!:rotfl2: Mostly monkey work but you never know what will catch somebody's eye. I deleted a lot of stuff. It's hard to edit & decide what to leave & what's filler... Who thinks I should keep the "Objectives" section? I mean that's really whooey and I need the space for "real" stuff. Obviously, the objective of a resume is to get a job. And nobody wants a job that sucks. We all want good ones. I mean, Hello! Right now, my objective says: "My goal is to find a position that offers the right combination of challenge, inspiration and satisfaction within an established, growth oriented organization." Do I really need to have that on there? Have resumes evolved enough by now that we can say scratch that whole section?! Guess I need to go online & check that out...

So TRM went to the ranch...thought of her today as I marched myself right past a gaggle of girl scouts peddling cookies on the sidewalk at the grocery store! Can't be tempted to buy more cookies (I already bought from 4 diff. girls!) Keep head down...eyes focused dead ahead...keep walking!:rotfl:

Had to go get my severence acceptance letter thingy notorized and mail it back to the NJ office so I can get my big 2 weeks pay... Also had to get cookies for the Blue & Gold dinner (Webelos were assigned desserts). The dinner is being catered by Carrabbas this year tho (yummmm!). Also, it was rather last minute, but I had tried to organize a collection of sorts from the other Den # 4 parents to get some gift cards for the 2 Den Leaders & the one Den Mom that really did all the work...so had to get those...mission accomplished.:thumbsup2

RJ - I have heard of Rascal Flatts I think. Is he a country singer? (That IS a 'he' right?!) That sounds like a good mother / daughter event! Speaking of concerts...where's SueEllen? Wasn't her big concert this week?!

CamColt - how much snow ya gettin'?! They said today that we've the 15th warmest winter on record and that we were 10" below normal on the snowfall. (Sorry)! I just KNEW by buying a snowblower we could count on not getting any! LOL...

RJ, Kimmy didn't tell Timmy yet did she? He is going to be sooooooo bummed. I wouldn't get tickets when THEY were here because the tickets were around $225 each. I'm not sure he's forgiven me yet. (Hoping to get fan club-presale tickets for Kenny in May)

You two will have a blast! When is the concert?

Annie: see hint above.

If'n you get tickets to see Kenny, then Kimmy will be sad...she wants to see him so badly!

BUT...

 Rascal Flatts/ Taylor Swift concert is April 9

:confused3 I'm lookin' but not sure what I'm lookin' FOR!? :rotfl:

I got it...look for the CAPS. ;) Very cool RJ & Kimmy.

The snow wasnt as bad as expected...only about 3 or 4 inches. All next week is supposed to be 40+. :cool1: Spring is in the air! :rotfl: But now we look forward to mud everywhere.

Sorry Annie, Im no good with the resume. I've never had the need for one, so I'm clueless. I hope I never do since the only real jobs I have had, the companies (banks) no longer exist so I would have no idea where any of my bosses are for references.

Katie, I'm with you. "First Interstate what? That was a bank? Really?" I think my boss has probably changed jobs (and banks) at least twice since then.

RJ, T just got word. Pre-sale starts March 4th 10am. "Guess I'm gonna have to miss school" :rotfl: Who I was raising such a funny boy. Guess I'm going to find out how this is done - very quickly. For him? Sorta. Mama wants to go too :upsidedow What I don't know is if it would be ok for Cas. She keeps reminding me that she has never been to a concert. (Poor baby.) Thoughts?

Funny joke Annie

:flower3: Anne.

What I don't know is if it would be ok for Cas. She keeps reminding me that she has never been to a concert. (Poor baby.) Thoughts?

Um... tell Cas that this is going to be Kimmy's first concert, so she has a few years yet to wait :lmao:

yeah, like that'll help:rotfl2:

Hummm...First concert. I remember wanting to go see BOSTON in high school and not getting to go! :rotfl: Anybody remember them?! I think my first concert was Billy Joel. Then my second concert was Bruce Springsteen - but that wasn't until I was grown & had moved here. I have not been to a lot of them... RUSH...Phil Collins...more Bruce...

Just filed our taxes. It's not a dirty word here - it's called INCOME now that mine is gone!:goodvibes Actually, the first order of business will be to set aside what we need to pay off the bal. on vacation this summer. I had HOPED to use the rest to pay off something else (or start another envelope:laughing: ) but we'll just have to see. For now, we will just hang onto it in the bank in case we should need it to pay the mortgage in a few months or something!:scared: All depends how quickly I can find a new job!

I think I need to take some of DS's ADHD meds - I can't seem to focus today...:rolleyes1

Oh Annie, I saw Boston in concert...summer of 87! I loved them!

If everyone wants a good laugh my first concert was when I was in 8th grade (1985) and I saw......WHAM! :rotfl2: Not only that but we thought we were so cool wearing our parachute pants, neon pink accessories and lace gloves (think Madonna back then). :lmao: I think my friends and I made WHAM look normal.

:lmao: I was talking EARLY Boston (70's)! :rotfl2: And I'm not laughing at the WHAM thing but at how young you are! Let's see...1985...I was done with college...had already been married once, divorced and had relocated from WV to MD!!:rotfl:

Just sent my first resume...it's wordy. But it wouldn't be mine if it wasn't! LOL...

ROFL! It was classic rock when I liked it. :rotfl2: I must have seen the come back tour or something.

You must hae been a child bride, Annie!
