Ok guys, I tried; really I did! But, my efforts were in vain... At 26 days out, I now had to change our HS day to where we'll need a CS lunch INSIDE the park (that won't produce food poisoning). I KNOW, that's hard to do, right?!??!! I've been on DIS long enough to see...However, DH's daddy/daughter SW's bday means more to him than allowing me the time to take us to Epcot first to at least have a princess Akershus TS lunch. Thought it was all planned... TS big lunch, hop to HS, avoid their atrocious CS options, and SW's Dessert Party as our "dinner". Now, we'll be INSIDE the park; the entire day...(so all the really good DIS "hop to Boardwalk" advice can't save me ). We're going straight to the park (at least I'm saved from breakfast) around 11am (bc my minions are night owls, and yes-DIS fail #1). We now have a Minnie's Dine TS dinner booked for 5p. And yes I know, wasting valuable stomach room for the SW's Dessert Party soon after
If I've learned anything from the DIS restaurant board over the last 2 yrs, it's to avoid HS CS at all cost... And here I am, knowing that my minions will need food prior to 5p. Help!!!
And of course we're on the dining plan this trip bc I subscribed to Disney propaganda of how it helps to budget in advance (which I agree, but of course at a higher cost thru this year at least; bc who eats CS desserts!?!? Glad to see the 2017 change!). So, my immediate "budget" reaction is Starring Rolls sandwich lunches (while seems to garner higher praises) are not valuable on the plan. What's truly left that's edible?? Is it worth the taste difference on the DDP to direct my family to these sandwich lunches, or do we possibly have another edible option elsewhere???
