We had a great visit at the WL fireplace and Christmas tree. Not everyone got in this photo, since some had already left, but here we are. I am 3rd from left, I messed up usernames (aging memory), but I know the first on left is KSP followed by Olderman, Sklooch??? (sorry, can't remember this user name), Olderman's wife and children. SLK5376 and her DH are on the right side. Hope I didn't mess this up too badly. I wasn't sure about the usernames. Several folks left before the picture was taken.

Hi, all...I was one of the ones who had to leave prior to the picture being taken...but just wanted to tell everyone how terrific the "meet" was and to say thank you to Diane for arranging it...definitely a (one of many) highlight of our vacation...thanks Diane and happy holidays to all...

Yes, and actually, your departure is what triggered us to do the picture! I didn't want anyone else to leave! We met right at 3:30 sharp, and DH and I left at 5:30 for our Artist Point ressies. Not sure if the rest of you folks stayed around after that or not.

Thanks to all who came! It is always fun to meet and talk DVC!

Thanks for posting the picture, Diane! I had a great time meeting you all - and I hope we will be able to see each other again during another visit!
I stayed for awhile longer while I waited for my DH to arrive from Epcot. George (in the center of the photo, but I'm not sure how to spell his username...skelooch?) stayed awhile, too - we all headed over to MK for a quick ride on the new and improved Haunted Mansion.

Time for us to pack for the trip home today-- I'm doing a little bit of laundry and then we'll be in the car for the trip home. Have a wonderful time, everybody!

We have always found the December ones to be VERY successful. Lots of fun, and if nothing else, there is always the Member Mixer where lots of DISers usually meet toward the back of the area.

Forgot to mention that the sure way to get to meet folks is to plan one!!! Since you brought it up, why not make a post and see how many folks answer? They are a lot of fun.

We had a great time meeting and talking with everyone--even my girls had a good time--liked looking for the "Hidden Mickey" in the fireplace.

I hope everyone had/has a safe trip home.

Again, nice to meet everyone, and next time we're at WDW we'll try to set up a meet ourselves.
