Dis-Dream Academy RP

Cerulean:She added a few more details to her bowl of fruit.

Atari:She tried to give the teddy bear life.

Cerulean:She finished her drawing but it look didn't turn out as well as she would hope. Well I probably won't get an A but I'll just have to make up for it later besides this is only my first class.

Marci: She sat down. She just knew she was probably going to get a detention, but hopefully Ms. Poppins lets her tell her side of the story first before deciding on a punishment.
Ms. Poppins: "I need to verify the story on this referral. What happened? No lies."

Hugo: He was drawing a fruit basket and doing very well.

Jordan: He was drawing a fruit basket and having less success.

Havelock: He was drawing a stuffed bear dressed in Viking armor, and it looked pretty neat.

Matilda: She was trying to draw a teddy bear, but it wasn't going very well.

Helena: She was trying to draw a flower in a vase. She felt she'd be more successful if she were making an ice sculpture.

Nancy: She was trying to draw a flower in a vase and it was not looking as good as she'd hoped.

OOC:Thanks.
Atarsi:She finished her teddy bear.Ahh he is so warm and cuddly wuddly.

Ms. Poppins: "I need to verify the story on this referral. What happened? No lies."
Marci: "Well, during homeroom, these two girls, Carter and Natalie, were playing MASH with another girl whose name I didn't catch. When they were done with her, I decided that I wanted to play too, you know, for nostalgia. So I go up to them and ask them to play. Natalie politely told me that class would be ending soon so we might not be able to play, so, politely, I told her that class didn't end for another 15 minutes or so. Carter then told Natalie in kind of a rude way, in my eyes at least, that I really wanted to play, which honestly, I didn't need to play, I just thought it'd be fun to play. She asked me my name and I said, and I quote, 'You know what? I don't need to play if you're going to be rude. But my name is Marci.' Even though I was being a little rude myself, I can't take it when people are rude to me, and I was always taught to treat others the way I want to be treated, so by that definition, she wanted to be treated rudely back, so I guess that was my thought process behind that.

"But anyway, Natalie decided that we can play anyway because she was being nice I guess, so she asked me where I wanted to live and I said Paris. She started writing it down and came up with China. She couldn't come up with anything else, so she asked Carter for ideas when Carter said, and I quote, 'my creative well seems to have run dry' in a sarcastic tone and roled her eyes. So then I gave her Neverland and Atlantis, and then I told Carter that she didn't need to be so rude and roll her eyes at me. This is where things got bad. Carter said that I didn't need to be so annoying. She proceeded to ask Natalie to go to the bathroom with her and I said to Carter that I wouldn't be so 'annoying' if she wasn't being so rude and I told her that I knew she was probably going to talk badly about me in the bathroom, because I know teenage girls, for I am one myself, and sometimes us teenage girls talk bad about other teenage girls in the bathroom and talk about other drama and gossip. But anyway, I told her that anything she was going to say about me she should say to my face.

"Carter then proceeded to mock me and Natalie told her to stop, which I thought was kind of nice of her even though she was joking a little bit. But anyway, she left the room saying 'let's talk trash about this girl we barely know in the bathroom.' I mean, you can easily say bad stuff about people you barely know in the bathroom. Oh, I barely know Carter, but I can think of a looot of things I could tell my best friend about her in the bathroom.
Not the point! Anyway, both Carter and Natalie left. I thought that Carter was immature by mocking me, because honestly, that's stuff you do in middle school. Anyway, the bell rang, so I went to my next class. I had something to say to her when she got back. Now, hear me out before I go on, I didn't mean to say what I said, I meant to say something like what I said in a half-rude, half-polite way so I would get my point accross.

"Anyway, so I got to art class and Carter and Natalie along with some other guy were in there. And then I said, and I quote, 'hey, it's too bad you were so rude to me before. I was actually starting to like you, but now I realize you're just a big-' and I was about to say a bad word, but I stopped myself because my best friend, who I thought wasn't going to the school, came in. And it's true, Carter and I could've gotten along great and possibly have even become friends, but she was rude to me. She rolled her eyes yet again and proceeded to mock me to her friends. Again, not very mature. And then, now is what I didn't want to happen. I called her a," Marci took a deep breath and continued to say, "*insert curse word that she said before* very loudly in front of the whole class.

"And then, unfortunately, I said, and I quote, 'and what makes you an even bigger *insert same curse word* is that you're being a *same word* for no reason at all.' It's true though, she was being a you-know-what for no reason. In the moment I wasn't embarrassed, but now I am and I feel very guilty and mad at myself for not being the bigger person and just walking away in the beginning. Miss Rider then asked my name and, Carter being the Carter that I know as of right now, answered for her. She then wrote a pass to send me here. Everyone was saying a ton of stuff like, 'what's a *word?*' and 'your Aunt Ariel wouldn't be proud of you.'

"Miss Rider did calm the class down eventually. The girl that brought my aunt into this situation apologized and I forgave her, since she didn't mean to say something like that. I wish that I could say that I didn't mean it about everything I said to Carter, but I can't. I really do think she's rude and because of that I really do think she's a you-know-what. I might've been a teensy weensy bit rude when I left though because I did say I didn't do anything and Carter was the one being rude for no reason. Yes, Carter was being rude for no reason, but I did do something, and that's why I'm here. And that brings us to right now."

OOC: OMG that was so much typing! I actually had to go back a couple of pages to get the whole story. By the way, I'm sorry for making you read all of that

OOC: OMG that was so much typing! I actually had to go back a couple of pages to get the whole story. By the way, I'm sorry for making you read all of that

OOC: It's okay. Is it sad that I'm reading this and I'm just "this is glaringly obvious that this is just overdramatic teenage drama" like an adult?

Ms. Poppins: "Well, the parts that Miss Rider indicated on the referral pass match up with your story, so I will continue with the assumption that you were telling the truth. Do know though if I find out you were lying you will be in even worse trouble. However, your admittance that you were wrong to use profanity is encouraging and I may be willing to be a little more lenient. It depenbds on the answers to the few questions I am about to ask you.

1. In homeroom when this started, first of all, why did you not alert Mr. Krei to your problem? Mr. Krei is for the most part a responsible teacher. I understand that you may not have wanted to appear to be a snitch, but he would have ended the problem quickly, and you would be in a lot less trouble than you are now. Had you alerted Mr. Krei, you may have gotten in trouble for disrupting class but you may have only been held back for a stern warning or gotten a lunch detention.
2. In homeroom, I understand you may have been fighting for control of your temper, but why did you take an aggressive way rather than an assertive way? There are several assertive techniques to deal with bullying. You could have acted superior, used an assertive phrase, like claiming you didn't hear what she said or asking if she felt better after saying that, or simply ignored her and walked away, maybe you could have played MASH with the other girl, the one they had just finished playing with.
3. When you reached art class, why did you seek out Carter immediately? Why didn't you give yourself some time to calm down and think about what you were going to say, or if it would have made you feel better to say anything at all? You may not have cussed if you had thought about what you would say or taken a step back and looked at the situation."

Olivia: She sat in her seat quietly, as she had done all morning seeing how some of her classmates behaved. She was sure the others around her wouldn't act the same, but she'd rather wait and see their personalities from a distance for the time. Her drawing of the fruit basket wasn't looking as she wished, but taking a moment to draw a fly on a pear relieved any worry for the time being.

Olivia: When finished with her mediocre drawing she put it aside, incredibly disappointed with her artistic skills. Looking around she huffed not being able to tell who was finished and who was not. 'If anyone here can actually draw I'll die from embarrassment,' She thought rising in her seat trying to see the others work.

Marci: She's glad that her punishment will be more lenient, but she had to answer these questions first. She answered,

"1. I just wasn't thinking. And yes, if I did tell him Carter would probably say something to me about being a snitch, but then again I don't really know her well. The more I think about it though, I reeeally should've told him.

"2. Like I said before, I wasn't thinking and I didn't mean to be aggressive. I tried to be nicer, but I kind of had I guess what you would call word vomit and everything I was thinking just came out of my mouth. And yes, I should've just ignored her, but I just. Wasn't. Thinking.

"3. I thought of what I was going to say, but word vomit happened again. I was going to say something like 'It's too bad you were so rude to me I actually started to like you before you were so rude' or something better than that. But her rudeness irritated me because I can't stand rude people and that irritation built into anger and bam! I started yelling expletives at her. You're right, I should've waited to say something to her once I was calmer, but like I said, I. Wasn't. Thinking."

She hit her head on the arm of the chair she was sitting in. "Ugh."

OOC: I don't know if I posted some of these yet, but Jacqui, Cass, Mike, and Miss AK ID's. I'll make outfit sets when I have the time. If you want an ID, just let me know and I'll happily make it for you!

OOC:They're all pretty nice and yes I would like an ID for my characters please.

Hugo: "We're gonna draw something. Either the bowl of fruit, the teddy bear or the flower in the vase, but you can draw it however you like." He said all of this without looking at her or even up from his drawing.

Veronique: Even in the midst of her book, a mental sigh happened inside her head. She didn't move or respond to the world around her of course, her book was far too important.

Wade: He chuckled and casually saluted Francesca.

Francesca: "Oh, that's like, easy! Thank youuu." She stood up, went to the back and grabbed a sketch pad. She meant to grab a regular old pencil, but pulled out a pink colored pencil instead. She walked over to the teddy bear and started drawing.

Marina: It felt like this girl was trying to see her art. She was a little embarrassed, but she casually stood up to go get a drink of water. Who knows why she wanted to see what she was drawing? She walked up to the cute little water fountain in the room, took one of the cute little Dixie cups Miss Rider had, and filled it up before coming back to her seat.

Atarsi:She was proud of her little teddy bear she noticed that the new girl had a pink pencil and was right next to the teddy bear and was drawing .
