I taught my boss to DIS, in hopes that she might get hooked and then I could therefore get away with more office DISing. But it didn't take. Some people just weren't born to DIS.

Of course then you couldn't talk about your boss, if she were also DISing! I have mixed feeling about getting friends hooked for that very reason, even though I don't usually talk about them.

Another DIS dork here. Sometimes I feel a little pathetic that the second I wake up, I rush upstairs to the loft and turn on the computer. It's also the last thing I'm doing before I head to bed! Guess I'm anxious to spend time with all you other dorks!

I'm a dork. And a DIS dork. I DIS every chance I get. I get so excited whenever anyone gets a new tag. I am constantly telling people, well someone on the DIS said this, because lets face it, we are a smart group. I did WPASADI and therefore spent every free second on here. I tie a lime green ribbon on my bag in WDW. I could go on...

I am fairly new around here but am quickly becoming a DIS Dork. First thing every morning I log on to DIS. I no longer watch the news--I just look on the CB to find out most things. My DH and kids are now worried about my new obsession~~this is so ADDICTING!!

What is WPASADI?

It's a reality show type competition that stands for Wickedly Perfect Amazing Surviving Apprentice DIS Idol. The challenges were a combination of a bunch of different reality shows and it was so much fun. I actually got 3rd place in the 2nd season!

OMG! I am actually very cagey when talking about the DIS. I say, "this on-line board" or "A Disney Website".

There are just days that friend and family issues come up, I would hate to have to filter my natural exhuberance in sharing them with my Dis family!

But I admit - I wake up many mornings and what actually gets me out of bed is wondering if I'm missing out on anything on the Dis.

It helps a lot that my DSis and DMom are bigger DisneyDorks than I am. My DSis sends emails of the food photos on the DisBoard Restaurant boards to us ... and then calls to make sure we looked at them! She reads every review of every restaurant at WDW she can find right up to the day we leave to go to WDW. And it gets worse ... a LOT worse!

Dis Dork here!!! Okay, well, let's face it. I'm just a dork in general. Thank goodness for the "dis-crete" mode because I usually have the Disboards up in a window all day at work! And of course check them again when I get home and before bed and... you get the picture!

When? Let's see ... it started back when I watched Annette 'bloom' on B&W TV; then I went to DL; then I went to WDW ... in October 1971; then it went down the slippery slope from there ...
