Ya know what, Jennifer - I didn't even go shopping this weekend. And I missed it. I think this is the first black Friday in probably a decade that I didn't plan an attack with a map! But I'm sorry, family time was too important this year so a 6:00 pm opening for Walmart was just too much. Besides there wasn't anything I just had to buy...

I cannot find info about the Facebook Page. Could someone give me the name so I don't have to look through all 110 pages right now? I'm sure I will get through all of the pages before the event I have a lot of catch up to do.

How do I officially sign up for events and shirts and meal reservations?

Are there any in the group who will not be going into the park on Saturday? My pass is not valid that day.

Welcome! Congrats on becoming a grandma! That is very exciting! As for just happening upon the thread...I know the feeling! that happened to me 7 years ago when Beth first had the idea and we did WDW! Now it has moved over to DL and I couldn't be happier! As for the down low...yup, page one just about sums it up! I am not sure, but I think the sign ups are closed for the old t-shirts but are still open for this years (correct me if I am wrong anyone!) As for meal reservations, you only need to sign up for the table service ones and there is a bit more info on that that you will need but cannot be discussed here. You can get that info on Facebook and a previous Diva was right and you just need an invite. If this hasn't already happened, just PM Beth and she can get your info and send you that invite. I know she was gone for Thanksgiving but I believe she is back now! As for Saturday, there are so many of us this year that I doubt it will be too hard to find someone to hang out with outside the parks. I am glad you are going to come and look forward to meeting you! Oh, and my name is SarahMay, I live in Washington State and have an 8 year old boy and a 5 year old girl and a dh who keep me busy outside my full time job! I don't get on here often but I look forward to getting you know you on facebook before our trip in LESS THAN 3 MONTHS! Woo Hoo!

A little about me.

My name is Diane Erickson and I'm 52 years old. I have lived in So. Cal all my life, except while attending college in Utah.

I worked @ Disneyland from 1979-1985 as a seasonal employee working Main Street Foods and Guest Relations.

My children have grown up Disney and we have had annual passes almost every years for the past 25 years. I love everything Disney and at one time owned over 50 pairs of Disney earrings. I have done Disney World and Disney Cruises and love the both as well.

I love to quilt and sew a little too.

I just became a grandma in July and I'm loving it. Our little Brody has visited Disney 3 times already and looking forward to his next trip in 2 weeks.

I am semi retired and do have a small wedding and event planning business.

Most of all, I looking forward to making new friends, especially Disney Divas just like me.

Any info, or where to find it would be greatly appreciated.

I am a Nana to 3 and one more on the way plus 2 step.
I am hoping to get a sewing machine and start learing to make things. I bet your quilts are very nice.

Welcome! There is a meet and greet dinner on Thursday. Sign-ups have ended, but I know of at least one cancellation, so you might be able to sign up still. Capri (aka disney-super-mom) is in charge of the meet and greet.

Welcome Diane! This will be my first Diva trip and I even have my daughter joining me. I am also 50? something lol, (55 this year and I can't even believe it) I've always wanted to do something like this with a bunch of other Disney lovers. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley. Jr High and High school Disney trips along with the usual family trips. Now in AZ and still trying to keep Disney in the family.
You'll have a blast! See you then!

Just wanted to share as I am excited and sad all in one
Sad because I had to cancel my cruise. My bff who was going with me and her son decided it's just not a smart idea when she has some bathroom repairs and he declared he wants nothing to do with us and will not go since we are boring, um ok but we aren't the once who sit in front of a TV watching wrestling or playing video games. Dang teens have no clue.
The good things is I am still on for my WDW trip my DH and I have been talking about it and will bring the two older grandkids with us Dec 2014. The next good news is my mom and step dad decided to join us and I am so excited to show them all the wonderful things there. They are both new to it and my step dad loves Disney and Christmas so it's even better. Seriously I am over the moon excited and pray my mom's health will last for this trip. She has really gone down hill this year and we hope her new health plan that she can see new doctors can help.

On another note one week from today is my big surgery. Getting a full overhauled as my DH says. So I am trying to get everything I can done in this time frame, including a baby shower this Sat for my youngest 2nd baby. OMG I may enjoy my down time after my surgery. Now if only I knew that down time would mean no pain. Unfortunately I am not going to be so lucky. Never ever google video of having a sling done or prolapsed repair. You will hurt just watching it.

Michele, sorry about your cruise. That sucks. But, I am glad plans are shaping up nicely for your WDW trip next year. That's great!

Sad news that you aren't able to do the cruise. I guess sometimes house projects take priority. At least you still have an awesome WDW trip in the works!

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I have been able to stop by and post here. Been working too much! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I've also been busy Christmas shopping. Think I am almost done! Nice not to have to worry about it in the last few days! Probably will still be scrambling for some though!

Trip related: I have sent my checks for both my shirt and meals yesterday. For meals I am only doing three for now. The BBQ, Blue Bayou, and Story Tellers. Not sure how much I am going to be able to afford when it comes time, so I didn't want to book too many! Now I've gotta somehow find an ugly sweater for the M&G! Any suggestions? Saw one site, but the sweaters seemed kinda expensive. Was hoping to keep around $20-$30 if possible.

I've been checking WalMart, have told everyone I know that I want the ugliest sweater possible to see if anyone has one they want to loan me, and I plan to check the local thrift shops between now and the holidays.

I'm having a hard time finding ugly Christmas sweaters as well. CJ Banks has some basic ones for sale online, so I'll grab one of those if I can't find something uglier (haha).

I tried getting one from a local thrift store, and they said they can't keep them on the shelves! Apparently there are a lot of ugly sweater parties, and they sell out as fast as they get them in stock.
