Is anyone going to be at Disneyland Labor Day weekend? My Mom and I will be there Friday night through Monday evening if anyone wants to meet up.

The Hippie Fruit stand gets my vote! We'd need bright colored shirts and we'll put you in your tie dye front and center!

The fountain on Buena Vista Street is pretty also. There's the Grizzly Waterfall too. All sorts of ideas. I kinda like the idea of doing a big group shot in the "new and improved" park to go with our Castle shot. Share the love with DCA, right? LOL

Hope everyone is staying cool today. Going to be about 105 here again. Ick.....

Hey ladies. I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was great. I had a 5 day weekend since Cliff had to use a vacation week at work and I decided to take a few days off with him, because I'm nice like that .

We went to Knott's without any kids on Friday and surprisingly had the best time. We were supposed to go to Disneyland on Sunday, but I forgot it was my grandparents 65th anniversary party so we went there and surprisingly again had a great time. I posted this on my FB page, but Cliff and I (mostly me) were a little naughty and smuggled some stronger alcoholic beverages from my grandpas liquor cabinet. We were a wee bit tipsy by the end of the evening and having a great time in our own little world.

Oh and today I turned 56. Definitely part of the senior citizen crowd..... But young at heart! I still loves me ToT, Screamin, Space, Thunder, Splash, Indy and now i get to try Racers!!!

It is so hot here, I am so sick of it. It's been over 100 every day this week with no relief in sight. Blech! I hope Beth is surviving summer in Michigan without A/C.

Kandace was SOOO nice!! I REALLY enjoyed meeting her. Didn't get to spend a lot of time with her, but it was still great to meet her!

Was that you? I checked in with my daughter just before 10:00am and was in the line for the very front part of the alphabet. Am certain that I bought a Dole whip from your daughter. I know what you mean about senior years. No one warned me about how stressful they are for the student or the parent. So much to be done for the senior year and for college the next year I finally had to put a list on the refrigerator with deadlines and "to dos" Does you daughter know what she wants to do next year?

That's really funny we might have met!

My daughter is still deciding. She sings & would LOVE to attend Cornish School of the Arts in Seattle, but cost-wise it's not so pretty. She's entertaining the idea of doing a certification program to be a Physical Therapy Assistant & she would be done in 2-3 years (making more money than me!) & could then attend Cornish. She's still trying to figure out her path in life. Music is her passion...I just hope she chooses something she can fall back on if needed.

What is your daughter going to do?

Fly by HI! It's hot and smoky here. Just gross. So I'm holed up in the house with the A/C running since we couldn't open the windows last night or this morning, the house didn't cool off. Ugh. Trying to figure out what to make for dinner that does not require the oven or the BBQ. Hubby is tired of taco salad. LOL I may get a nice little Stouffer's lasagna. Microwave city. LOL

I like the Stouffer's lasagne, we like the Marie Calender's also. Hopefully the nice delta wind that's blowing here right now is making it's way up to you to clear out that smoke!!
