DIS/DISUnplugged/Dreams December Event Info – DISapalooza (continued)

Sad thing is I was at DAP! Just wasn't able to spend as much time with everyone as I wanted to!

It would have been nice to get a little more time together, but I was so glad we got to meet! :hug:

Kim you are welcome! :love:
You are a very special friend, John and I thought it was great that you were going to be there for your birthday. We decided we should celebrate it. :dance3:
The rest of our wonderful friends jumped on this so fast it was all I could do to keep things straight.:woohoo::yay::dance3:
I am glad we could make this memory with you! :hug::hug::hug:
We feel the same way about the boards, they have changed our lives, and the way we vacation. :banana::)
See you in April! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Thank you Kat for taking care of Kim's cake. You did a great job. Yee Haa Bob was such a great time and there were quite a few DISers that had never seen him before that absolutely loved him. Audience participation at it's finest. There will definately be a Yee Haa Bob II for 2.0. :)

The triumphant return of Señor Jorge!!!

I love it! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
Helloooo Jorge!! ;););)

BTW who did get the high score. I cant find it posted.

It was Kenny the pirate! :thumbsup2
His score was 309900!
He doesn't post on the podcast boards, but was one of John's first friends during the CMO (chief Magic Official) contest!
He has almost 800 posts.

I was one of the DISers that had never attended one of Bob's shows. It was a hoot! I am looking forward to doing it again!

I went for the first time to Yehaa Bob when I took my Dad in July. Maybe this should be an activity for our GKTW break trip next month Todd?

I too, was one of the first timers seeing Bob. A must do for 2.0. Thanks Kat for getting the cake coordinated for Kim's surprise party.

I hear you Aaron. I was up at 5:30am to get ready for the GKTW group on Saturday morning, and then we were up until 1:00am that same day for the TSM party. Sunday, up for breakfast at Chef Mickeys, and then up until 1:00am for the Christmas Party. I have been struggling to keep my eyes open since getting home. It was great seeing everyone though. I just wish I had more time to talk with everyone. There were so many people to catch up with. I am glad I got to see people again.
I saw you quite a bit Dave. You and the fam look great! You should be very proud of what you've accomplished with the blog. You guys are doing great with it.

My Wayward suitcase has found it's way home (or at least to my parent's house where I had Southwest ship it to). Too bad it wasn't me that was wayward and still traveling. I am back to work today and finding it hard to concentrate on Work. Only 6 more days until our holiday break begins, then I am off until January 11th.

I completely agree. I am just not used to going to bed at 2:30 a.m. and getting up at 7:00 a.m. It catches up with you, doesn't it? I wouldn't have done it any other way, but I do have to admit that I am still dragging.

You forgot the drinking champagne part of the evening. Or should we consider that morning?

I thanked Stacy at the TSM party for coordinating the Yeahaa Bob show because it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. We had never been before as well, and as I had my kids with me, I was afraid they were going to be bored. Turned out, they had the best time! They got to go on stage a few times and are still talking about it. My family (including me) tends to be shy and I was happy and a little shocked that they had no problem getting involved with the show.

So..I was talking to a friend and telling her about you wonderful people and this past weekend that you had. She said that she was so jealous and that it sounded like fun!! I told her that anytime you get a bunch of DISers together, you can't help but to have a good time!!!:thumbsup2

So...it got me thinking: I wonder how many ladies would be willing to do a ladies only trip to the World??

If anyone on here would be interested and/or give me some ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it!!! Thanks!!

Wow Andrea. When I saw Kim and Isabella up on stage I thought they had done this a few times before. They looked very comfortable and were having a ball. :goodvibes

I have to share a funny moment Dave that happened at the Seminar. My DW and I had brought some items to donate to GKTW and kept going downstairs to try and find the area to leave them (we were mistakingly going to Asia 1 instead of Asia 3 :rolleyes1). Well I could not remember your real name, so my DW was laughing as I was running around to several people asking if they had seen "Mouse Skywalker". I told my DW that I felt like such a kid running around calling people by their screen name. :lmao: Anyway, thank you for driving the donation efforts as I have a soft spot in my heart for kids. :goodvibes

Nope, first time. They did look comfortable and they were definatley having a ball. I think if I showed both their teachers the video of them that night they would be shocked, they are both quiet girls... that is unless they are home with me, then they are NOT quiet!!!

That is funny Bill. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for donating. We had quite a bunch of stuff to drop off for GKTW. It filled the trunk of my rental car.

Of course you don't. You're too young. :)

Hi Dodie. Yes it does catch up. So what do I do? Last night I stay up to almost 1AM formatting/editing trip pictures for the Photo Channel on the Nintendo Wii. You add pictures and .m4a audio files to SD memory cards then enjoy your photos and holiday music together in a slideshow. Neat little feature of the Wii. :thumbsup2

Seriously George? I didn't know about that little wii trick. Something new to try out I suppose hehehe

I am glad you had video, I wasn't sure and was going to PM you to let you know I have almost all of them on stage if you needed it. They are adorable and looked very much at ease.
