Now that I don't have to worry about Mom (too much) I need to get going on the packing. My mantra this trip must be "I will not overpack, I will not overpack." I am the overpacking Queen. One suitcase, one under seat carry-on and the camera. For me this is packing light. Since I plan on getting some more H2O products I will have to check the bag coming home so I might as well check on the way down. I must make my list. I'm a list kind of girl.

Hi Peeps.

Not much time for board time today. Work crunch and I hate that. The only crunch I like starts with Cap'N and Nestles.

Still not packed or even started. Luckily Deb has tomorrow off. She still has her decoration spew to contend with as well.

Have fun at the pre-DAP dinner those that are attending.

I will be packing my cloaking device because I need no stories for the tag fairy. I believe as well and it's time for someone elses turn. I've had enough with infamous.

Dinner shortly and I'm crashing early.

Just need to make sure Dh is on board then i can sign and return tomorrow. have to do a drug test in the next 36 hours though, not sure how i will find time, might have to skip out of work early or take a super long lunch! good thing i already packed. they want me to start 12/28. we come back on 12/20, so i can go in a few days at the old/current place to transition and then enjoy my Christmas! woo hoo. finally good news and can enjoy my vacation!

I am the Empress of Overpacking!!! I always drive so I just throw in everything and anything. My family knows to pack lightly so there is room for my stuff.

i am an overpacker too. i tried my best this time, but with DH and a toddler, going for 10 nights/11 days, the best i could manage was two large checked bags, one medium checked bag, DS's toddler roll aboard and two backpacks. oh and stroller and car seat. oh joy! lol!

love me some lists too! oh and spreadsheets.

Just got back from the dr. Mom was sick over the weekend. She hasn't been eating right since then. Her electrolytes and blood sugar are messed up. Orders are to rest, eat lightly but frequently and drink something to up her blood sugar and electrolytes. So I will be heading to the NICE grocery store and get her some supplies. She should be feeling better by the end of the weekend. Little sister and family will be on call for the weekend for anything Mom needs.

Sneaking on to check on you guys...I'm so excited at this point...I feel like a kid right before Christmas. I'm also laughing because DS is so excited about snow...we are waiting for Prep & Landing to start and he comes in here just busting, saying "Mommy, Mom...there's a red band on the TV saying that the snow is coming!!!" He then proceeds to read it to me as it goes across..."There...is...an...alert...for...WNY (what's that, Mom?!)...for lake...effect...snow..." - you get the idea! I'm so going to miss him while I'm away.

He just skipped in and out of the room saying, "Laughing all the way, laughing all the way, my friends!"
