DH and DD mentioned last night that they would like to do something special for our DS, who is Graduating from HS, while we are at Disney. I was thinking since we are having him a big party at home before we leave, something at one of the resturants would be fun. We are not real fancy eaters, so the places we are going for dinner/breakfast may not have that sort of thing, but I thought I would check with you guys for ideas. Here is where we are eating (I can change an ADR for a really really good idea, nothing is set in stone.) Thanks for all your help out there. You guys rule!

Donalds Breakfasouras
Crystal Palace (Dinner)
Whispering Canyon (Dinner)
Princess Storybook Breakfast
Sci-Fi Dinner (Dinner)

Try The Brown Derby Rest, Or The Coral Reef. Food Is Fab!!!!! You Will Love Either

How about the Yachtsman Steakhouse? That sounds like a good idea to me for a young man celebrating such a landmark in life.

I was wondering about this too. We are going in april and the only place ds requested was ESPN club on the boardwalk since he is a sports nut. And to top it off his senior class trip is to disney on may 22. Coral Reef is cool if you can get a tankside table. I think they seat 4. Is there a certain type of food he likes? You could look at the menus at allearsnet. We didnt care for the food but Biergarten in Germany but it has a festive atmosphere. Maybe Ohanas for dinner.

WCC sounds like a place that would make a big deal of it if you let your server know. Of course, that's why we are celebrating my son's graduation early at Boma! My son would just die of embarrassment if he was made the center of attention! We are only having the party because my SIL kept making a big deal out of having something for him. No fuss at a buffet, but we can spend the evening wandering around the grounds of the resort.

Another place that would probably make a fuss is Hoop Dee Doo. If you're looking for something personal, I think you can order a cake at most TS restaurants. Check the BD cake thread for tele. #s. I'm sure they would do a graduation cake.

I was thinking WCC would be a fun place for a celebration too! party: We haven't eaten there, but when we eat at AP it always sounds like they're having fun in there. :teeth: I also like the HDDR idea. I've got to ask though, how do you convince a DS(17) to eat at all those character meals? My DS hasn't wanted to go to one, since he was 10 or so. :(
