DIS Digital Scrapper's Challenge WEEK 3 -- 4/30 - 5/6

ngneer -- Love the Storybook double page LO. I think that's one of the sweetest rides in DL.

Bookmom -- Lovely teacup LO. That Shabby Princess quickpage is very pretty.

Fran -- What a great Small World Pic -- the colors on that LO are awesome. And the Thunder Mtn. LO came out great -- I really like the colors...

Here's mine...

Britt's Happiest Kit on Earth; Buds in Bloom Clearly Alpha (GDS Collab Kit), I can't seem to find my reference for the brush cluster frame (recolored)... hmm... I'll keep looking.

DisneyCruiser -- how did you "cut" the Mickey paper like that? It looks awesome!

OK, here's my layout. I'm counting the planets on the background picture as my circular elements. This LO made itself. It really just came together amazingly fast. I wasn't planning to use that picture as the background and then all of a sudden, it became the background and the whole thing just fell together perfectly after that! I'm really happy with how it came out. I didn't use much in the way of elements, just Britt's Clearly Alpha! And the fonts are Airstream and Disney Print.

Hi Jessica -- Actually the star edging is just one of the photo "edge" choices in SBC+.... There's a bubble edge and a leaf edge too.... I just applied it to the paper instead of a photo.

Your LO came out great... The night pics are awesome. You take really good pictures -- what kind of a camera do you have?

Wow -- I hadn't noticed that edge. I'm going to have to go look for it now!

I have a Canon 20D digital SLR. I have had it for over three years now and I'm finally figuring out how to get the most out of it!! The folks over on the photography board here have helped me a lot!!

Night time in tomorrowland is my FAVORITE! Great LO Jess.

Great LOs EVERYONE!!! I'm LOVING this challenge!!

Here's mine - It's a 2-pager. The circles are the little cork/green/glitter thingies I have tucked in all over as well as the little orange gems. And my clear elements are the "Glittered Edged" swirls.

Wow you guys!! Everyones lo's are GREAT!!! AS you can see, i didn't get mine done last night --had to do laundry and finish packing -- but we come home on monday night, so i still will have a day to do the challenge..LOL (not to mention a fresh set of pics!! LOL)

I'll miss you guys, but i am not bringing my laptop -- i can't believe that you can get free internet at a Days Inn, but not at the Grand Floridian. Unbelieveable.. and i can't see paying for it..

Everyone's LO's are fab! Definitely going to have to get my thinking hat on for this one when I get back home. I can see a night of me looking through my many (many) photos! Great challenge and I can't wait to see what I can come up with :cool1:

Thanks!

Great Layouts everyone!

Here's mine. I'm off to the world tonight for the next 11 days, so wanted to get my submission in before I leave-

Labdogs- I recently got a Canon Rebel Xti... I have great hopes of some awesome night shots like yours on my trip!

Okay, well I'll be back just in time to make the deadline for the Week 4 challenge!

Wow, everyone was busy last night and this morning! What great LO's!

Britt -- I love that LO! How do you decide to use all that great stuff behind your photos? Do you put that stuff down first, then your photos? I haven't gotten the hang of that technique/style yet, but I love how it looks!

Marileeh -- cool safari pics! i love that kit, too! I like how you did the stitching on the page. I guess I'll need that orange stitch, too...

Tinker -- Great Everest LO! I love the pics ON the ride going up the hill. Nice ones! The paws are the perfect accent to this page. And I figured out your circle element after a second look -- the paper, of course!! Have fun with that Rebel!

the layout is from 2005.....busy this week and no time to scrap but wanted to still post something.... ok not to count for the challenge.

It meets all of the challenge requirements, so you're in! I'm impressed that you dug through your old LO's and found on that fit all the criteria of my challenge! That's pretty impressive! :worship:

Fran -- I like both LO's! I need to remember to sit behind DH and DS on the rollercoasters next time. I like the shots of the people looking back at the camera!

Thanks...it was one of my favorite memories from our trip....seeing the girls big cheesy grins having a ball....

AWESOME entries everyone. And will everyone stop rubbing it in my face that YOU are off to experience the magic and I'm not! JK! Have fun!

Jess - the little clustery, tucked in elements are the last thing I put in. I had everything else positioned and thought, its boring, it needs some "stuff". So I just started looking for things that would be cute but not make it look more Halloween-y than it already was. Then I just started tucking! And that's it. I'm just tuck and cluster kind of scrapper and I'm sure you've noticed. It's fun.

Great layouts so far everyone! :)
