DIS Digi Scrapping Challenge #46 (2/25-3/3)

Janis - Such a beautiful layout of a beautiful moment in time! How amazing to have a picture of this memory. Fabulous!

Ok, so this isn't really a ride, but I was thinking about the Sleeping Beauty Walkthrough recently and wanted to do a layout about it... It was a great attraction though!

Everyone's pages are so different and so creative. I love looking through all the entries for ideas of techniques to try to learn.

I do have a question that I hope someone will answer for me. What size on photobucket does everyone use? Everyone's layouts seem to come out the same size and mine is either too big or too small.

Anyway, here is my page:

What great layouts we have seen so far! In case someone is wondering Participation Prizes will go out on Tuesday evening.

Photobee - Love the two pages. Great job.

interstitchial - Way to stretch the creativeness of a challenge! You are like me! Great picture of the castle.

Fran98765 - Great layout. I love the blocking.

Vacation Kicks - Love the layout, great colors, and great photos. As for size: Mine is 600 x 460 (but I don't scrap 12x12) those who do are generally 600x600 (pixels). Hope that helped.

Making Scrapbooks - Love all the mickey sparkles.

here's mine, i love how different and creative everyones work is!. i cant match the magic of riding the carousel in a wedding dress but i do have fond memories of the first disney ride we ever did.

I could be wrong, but is this going to be opened again? Or even, is it opened again? The last time I went on that was at my grad nite ... (oh, am I old! :lmao:)

Everyone's LOs are great! I'll comment more on them later.

I've got to get working on my LO. I had a very bittersweet weekend (I drove down to Atlanta and back for a friend's memorial service) and now I need to get some happy work done!

Krisi, thanks for hosting this week! You must've been reading my mind, because this was the LO that I was currently working on. This gave me the incentive to get it completed.

It's a two-pager, but I couldn't help it. I just adored this ride!

Journaling: The first thing we experienced that day was the brand new Toy Story Mania ride, and let me tell you - it was worth the wait! There were so many things to see while you were in the queue. The excitement builds as you read all of the posters along the way. And you can't forget the interactive Mr. Potato Head. He's a hoot! But it was the ride itself stole the show. You are literally whisked through a huge mid-way ride where you play different midway-style games for points. But you can't see a thing on the screen in front of you if you don't wear your 3-D glasses. The cars move you from game to game, and your cumulative score tally is kept throughout the ride and matched with all the other players during the day. It's definitely a must-ride for every future visit!

Susan,

What a cute idea! I've been known to take pictures of wait times, too...but never thought of scrapping them.

Here is mine!

Mania? I guess so! You sprint to the attraction at rope drop, get a Fast Pass and rush to get in line. I was third highest score at 8:15!

Everyone's layouts are so unique and fun! I love seeing everyone's views of Disney World and Disneyland! I love the layout of the wait times! I've never done that...but maybe next time! Very creative!

Thanks for another fun challenge to get my huge Disney album that much closer to being done!

I finally got mine done.

Thanks for the push to scrap these pics. I had this vision of putting it all on gold carousel poles, but getting to to look cute took some work!! But I have to say I love how it turned out!!!!!

Time is running out... I am going to start sending the Participation Prizes. LOVE all the layouts that came in. Thanks for playing as I hosted my first ever challenge!

Quiltymom - I love it. I actually have visions when I chose 'rides' as a topic to do our Toy Story but I didn't get enough pictures so in a couple weeks when we go back I will take some more. Yours are GREAT. Love the layouts.

Susan - So smart to take pictures of the wait times. You must not have been there the same time in January we were... some rides had an hour wait or more. Great layout.

KathleenA - Another great Toy Story Mania layout. So cool you were 3rd place. I guess that is what I need to do is go first thing in the morning so I can get a high score!

Brittney - You made it on time, midnight Disneyland time (PST) so you had lots of time to spare! I missed your layout in the gallery - guess I have to go back and find it. I just couldn't comment on all 45 layouts. What a beautiful layout. I love the gold letters on the pole. Great job doing this during a speed scrap.

thank you so much for the great challenge and template. The download worked fine! great work everyone, i love how different all the LO's are. Gill
