DIS Digi-Scrappers Challenge #8 (6/4 - 6/10)

Really?! only two LOs so far? Is this a lame challenge? Are we all burning out on challenges? When I last hosted I think I had TEN by day two! :confused3

I'm going to do one for sure! I just haven't had time to work on it yet. I did browse Flickr today to get some ideas. I also uploaded the rest of my LO's that weren't there yet. I think we're getting into nicer weather and people are on the computer less, maybe? I also think we get more people when we have a participation gift. That seems to bring folks out in droves! I certainly don't expect us to have one all the time, but I do think we see higher participation in those challenges. I could try making something to give away for a future challenge. Maybe not for the next one, but sometime soon. I have no idea what I'd make, but I'd be glad to take a shot at something!!

Cool challenge!! Here's mine...

I scraplifted Britt. I really like the placement of the elements on it and the folded paper at the side.

This was the hardest challenge for me so far! First, it took a while to decide which LO to scraplift, since there are so many great LOs in the flickr group (which reminds me, I guess I have to join!?) After I finally decided which to use, then I had to decide what I wanted to scrap, and I went through 3 ideas before finally settling on this one. I'm kind of a fly by the seat of my pants scrapper, I just move things around to see what I like, so trying to remain close to the inspiration LO was also tough for me. In the end, though, I like the result, and that's worth all the work!

I scraplifted Britt's Princess Peekaboo LO here:

Wow, I am very impressed with what you ladies have come up with already! Beautiful layouts (I will have to double scraplift, I can see! LOL)

Actually, I know just which one I would love to use. I just have to get back home and finish my work so I can play (I'm out of town this week)

:cutie:

Everyone on here has done such great stuff. I've been trying to get ready for our cruise so I haven't had much time to play lately. But when I come back I will have a whole new batch of pictures to play with! :yay:

You make some excellent points. I was also thinking about what I could make as a participation gift for the next time I host. It wouldn't be a kit or anything, but there are other things I was thinking about. And as I mentioned before with summer almost here it seems that more people will be gone at different points for family trips, Disney, etc. I enjoy the challenges and don't want them to end anytime soon.

Just an FYI that I reuploaded my LO in my original post (on the last page.) I didn't like the way the journaling looked, so I rotated & moved it a bit, and now I like the LO much better. :)

Beautiful LO's ladies!
I have been suffering a serious case of scrapper's block and have been working on mine for two days. I still have to do the journaling and will have it up tomorrow. You all are going to have to take my word that it's a lift as I have hunted here, Flikr and Scrapmatters and can't find it.:confused3

Here is mine: (Someone teach me how to include the pic in the post, LOL!)

Thanks for looking!

I love it! If you want to make your image show up, just go back and edit your post. Find the button that has the picture of the mountain on it and paste the URL of the picture into the box that pops up. Then your picture should be in the post. It looks like you already know how to make links, so pictures should be easy!

Here's my layout for the scraplift challenge:

Wow Susan, great job!

Well here is mine finally. Like I said I couldn't find the page I wanted to lift so if it sound familiar let me know so I can give credit. The LO had Ariel, bold colors, circles and an Ariel sticker.
ETA: Pooh found the LO for me so scraplifted from virginiajen:

My take:
This was just as magic for me as it was for her.

(click for credits) crap, I just noticed a typo!

Yes!!! Thank you!!! I hunted forever and couldn't find it. The sticker must have been in my head.:rotfl2: Going to update my post. Thanks again and welcome back!

Britt,
