DIS Digi-Scrapper's Challenge #42 (01/28 - 02/04/09)

ooooh this is sooooo cute! I LOVE how you recolored the alpha to yellow! Awesome re-do! I did one of those myself actually today!

sounds like fun, and I've been scrapping Disney lately! YAY! Will do this one after I pick up the boy, early day, he's out at 10:40. :sad2:

Here's mine. The second patterned paper is the mat to the big pic and if that isn't enough, there's a 3rd patterned paper matting the other 3 pics! Everything else should be obvious. I think!

Great challenge Britt! All the layouts are wonderful so far! I'm hoping to get some me time this weekend and be able to scrap! :)

Yeah finished at last :cool1:

Scrapbooking is bad for my health I have been up till 1am the last 2 nights working on LO, it's hard to stop once you get started you just want to see it finished. This LO took me longer than my first one but I am really happy with how it turned out. I think I've covered all the rules.

Disney Quote: “We’ll be friends forever, won’t we Pooh?” (In Pooh font)
Journalling - Font is Treasure Map Deadhand (I've never used this one before) They say a picture paints a thousand words and this one does. Your face just says it all, you were just so thrilled to be meeting your favourite bear for the first time.
Date - embossed on christmas decoration (honestly it's small though and hard to see at this res!)
I think the rest is obvious. I have a huge list of credits...
Shabby Princess - paper,s ribbons and baubles came from the following kits Charming Christmas, Country Christmas, Amore
Seebee's Freebies - Mickey Brackets
Free Digitial Scrapbooking - Red star paper and green stitched Ribbon
Beckysscrap - string bows

Wow!!! So cute Emma! The pictures just steal the show!!! They are so cute. I love all your paper choices too. And the stitching is so realistic! I love it.

Fran its ADORABLE!!! I love the words around the edges! Where did you get that text? I love it.

REALLY cute.

Thanks! The text is the lyrics to the song at the opening of the movie. Pulled out of my trusty Disney songbook, circa 1977. I need a more recent version! HA!

Thanks for these challenges! They are helping me expand past my comfort zone and explore new digital options. :upsidedow

I think I have them all covered.....

Thank you Brittney. I really enjoy these challenges. Most of the challenges covers things I normally wouldn't do, and since I'm new to digital scrapbooking I am learning so much.

Britt-ish designs. Fonts Gloogun and daisy script. I realized the disney quote may be a little odd but because my son has learning disabilities we didnt think he would interact with the characters. Sorry if i missed anything out1 Gill

Thanks Britt I am pretty pleased with this LO, definetly my favourite of the two I've done. I love this set of photos and I liked being able to do a chrismassy theme because I love Christmas so it was a win win!

I am really loving everyones work on this challenge. It is amazing how we all come up with something completely different :goodvibes

Gill - This is so cute! The photos are SO cheery and happy. I like the quote you used too. Since you asked for some feedback, I'd make the shadows on the square block WAY smaller. Right now they look like they're floating in the air. And is the date number upside down on purpose?

I really like how you did your title and how you used the zig zags. :thumbsup2

The last couple of challenges I couldn't quite manage to come up with anything that would work. I think I was able to follow all 10 of the rules for this one.
So here it is:
