DIS Digi-Scrappers Challenge #12 7/2-7/9 -- UPDATED with WINNERS!

sleepingbean What a great Mickey layout! I never would have thought to turn the title into a photo wrap -- that looks so cool!

BriarRose I love how you used the flowers on your LO. Where was that picture taken? It looks like a backdrop of the castle instead of the actual castle (or maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me). It is a GREAT photo and layout!

terri24601 I love how you used those swirls behind your pictures and how you recolored Chip & Dale! Great LO!

Oooh, Susan, I love it!! I love how you did a character page without the character. Very tricky! If you want me to make you an "'s" in the gellie, let me know, but I like how you used the Minnie! I love that shoestring photo wrap, too. Where can I find that?

Jessica, I'd love an apostrophe and an S if you get a chance. Thanks for offering. The shoestring wrap is here and is by Katie Pertiet.

Thanks for hosting and for the great gellies!

I'll do it for sure. I think I'm going to make the whole alpha to share on my blog. I really like the font in that fun, shiny, gellie style. I'm kinda having fun making random elements. Maybe someday I'll get into kits, but for now I'll leave that to the experts (BRITT! :worship: )!!

Thanks! Way back in the day (1994), photo sessions were included with some of the vacation packages. I can't even remember where we had to go to have this done, but it was through Disney. I just love it and it was great to be able to take our time and pose with Mickey without feeling like we were encroaching on someone else's time.

ETA: The flowers were actually a part of the template. I used the template to cut out the shape of the flower and stem from two of the papers in Britt's kit.

Back after missing two weeks! Here's mine. This will be the title page for our day at MGM, so it features three photos that sum up the day:

I had to laugh when I saw "MGM" in your description, but "The Studios" on your page. We were there last week and my girls said it will always be MGM to them. I agree!!

Cute page too! I love blue and your use of it throughout the page makes the focus be on the pictures. Aren't we lucky to have Brittney?

Here's mine....another goofy one! ah well...it needed to be done regardless!

Can I just admit that calling it MGM makes little sense for me because we never went there while it was MGM. When we went to WDW last June it was the first time I had been since I was about 14! I guess I'm just glad I didn't title the page with MGM! Shows how the old name totally permeates culture, I guess.

edited to say...dur...I guess not. Susan e-mailed me and told me it was still Disney MGM then! I'm such a Disney newbie, I'm telling you!

WOW you guys! These LOs are really amazing this time.... I want to make it back and comment on all of them all at some point. Awesome job!

I'll do it for sure. I think I'm going to make the whole alpha to share on my blog. I really like the font in that fun, shiny, gellie style.

I would really love the 's, too! I've been working on my LO the last few days, and I keep changing the title. I think writing "Mickey's" might work better, so I'd love to try!

Now, commenting on all the great entries. :)

Yzerbear19- I love how you layed out the papers. I'm definitely going to remember how you used the date stamp with the tag, what a great idea! Did you make this page digitally beacause Chip & Dale are such a pain to put together on the Cricut? ;)

DisneyCruiser2008-Wow, what bright colors!! Very striking! I love the circle paper. And I really need to get those date strips!!

carsmom53-Love the colors & ribbons, it works together so perfectly! Alos like how you used "Goofy" twice in the title.

susan0326-Love the circles with the stitching! Such a very "Minnie" page! Cute pics, too! :)

sleepingbean-Very cool using the title to make the wrap!

BriarRose59-Love how sparkly this one is. Great use of color. Neat pic with Mickey! Would love to get one with him in front of the castle, even if it's a fake background. ;)

terri24601-Those swirls are awesome! Love the color scheme, and it works perfectly for a title page!

ngneer98-Really love how you did the title! The 100% fun tag is perfect!

Someone yell at me if I missed someone!!

Yzerbear - I love this one. It's classic, rustic, simple, and fun! Very appropriate for a Chip and Dale layout!

DisneyCruiser - great color choices for pluto! and very fun layout!

carsmom - classic and pretty for goofy. Love the green flower touches! (or whatever they would be called!)

susan - very pretty, very MINNIE, and very fun! Love the last photo of the cottage!

BriarRose - That is very pretty and a good choice of color scheme for the photo!

Terri - I love how simplistic you kept this. all style! and effective!

NGneer - great use of scrappin in the words! The arrow to goofy and the very funny label are a nice touch

If you saw this in the main thread, I decided to use stiching as a photowrap. I hope that counts! If not just don't count me in for the drawing. It's been so long since I did something for a challenge, I just really wanted to enter. Thanks for hosting!
