Welcome to the DIS Challenge #71!!!

Your challenge: Create a layout that fits the following criteria:
1. Layouts must be Disney related. This can be the parks, on the way to the parks, cruise, Disney on ice, etc.
2. This challenge will be to scrap your favorite Disney vista (i.e. view). Ideas include theme park scenery, a great sunset shot of your favorite resort, the entrance gates, your garden with Disney stepping stones, or anything that you consider a “view of Disney.”
3. In addition to the theme, here are a few guidelines, using the word VISTA (you know, like Lake Buena Vista). :)

V - use a Variety of papers (you choose what a variety means)
I - include something Itty bitty on your layout
S - use Something that sparkles (glitter, metal, pixie dust)
T - Tell us about the view (through title or journaling)
A - a hidden Mickey is Always needed

Entries must be posted in this thread by midnight PT on Tuesday, August 25, 2009.

Here is my layout:

credits: I used some of the shabby princess freebies for 3 of the papers. One was a hi-res image from google image search of nightmare before christmas.
The glitter came from Brittish designs (and I shrunk some down to be itty bitty! ) Plus I added an itty bitty bat and I have two homemade elements, one of which is my hidden mickey (can you see him?)
:)
Thanks for the challenge!

Fran... any Disney view you love is fine... I'm fine with a bending of the rules if it allows you to play. :)

Very generous of Maria, thank you. I will have to see if I have pictures for this... I may be out.

sleepingbean: great castle photo! I love your ghost Mickey! So cute! Thanks for playing!

Here's my layout. (Another castle :lmao:, imagine that!) I'd actually started working on this layout last night before I went to bed. So when I woke and saw the rules, I knew I had to finish it because it fit so well. (I've started a lot of layouts lately that haven't been finished for one reason or another.)

RRBB: Great journaling! I love all of the different photo views and how you've placed the date. Looks like you and I have a Disney view in common! :)

V - is 2 considered a variety?!? :)
I - Itty Bitty - I used Britt's kit called "Itty Bitty!" (woo-hoo - another page to enter for a Britt show off)
S - bling!
T - title by Shabby Princess
A - hidden Mickey semi-hidden

and that circle is from being a Haynay show off!

Thanks for hosting!

Wow - thanks for playing everyone! There is always such wonderful work shown on these challenges!

RuthieRoo - beautiful photos! I love that Disney view too! I love how your scallop border mimics the platform that Mickey and Minnie are standing on. Great job!

tinkandhook - I think your view is great! I live all of the Mickey elements and the numbers on the photos. Very unique!

susan0326 - What a great experience for your son! I love your title work and the glitter elements. And the spotlight elements puts it over the top!!!

Carolc - what a unique perspective on the Walt statue! Super job on the title and glitter work!

Thanks for the fun challenge! Here's my take on it. The mickey's are there - you just need to look real close to find them!
