well, if you kind ladies will have me:hug:, im back in..have 12 weeks to do this, need a kick up the butt, everything keeps going pear shaped (sick uncle, flooded kitchen i could go on but it s depressing;)) and all these are just excuses to confort eat... i have started (again) today and will no doubt bore you senseless but for the next 12 weeks your stuck with me:rotfl2:

I started in September. My youngest started school and I realised that I couldn't use the "I've just had a baby" excuse for my enormous fattness anymore:rotfl2:

Hi All, Only had time tonight to check up on everyones progress from last week, but it seems like you all had some great results! I lost 5 pounds this week, so I've now lost over a stone at WW in 5 weeks (15.7lb to 14.5and1/2). I really can't believe it! :banana:
Still a long way to go until my I get to within my healthy BMI (the highest part of that is 12.11), but I've never lost weight this fast before. I think it's the fact I can still have a drink and some chips when I want, just making sure I have smaller portions by counting the points. Can't be doing with rabbit food 7 days a week!

I'm late in posting as I got weighed on Tuesday morning then headed straight up to Manchester for the night where we went to see the fabulous Peter Kay.

Anyway I lost another lb this week, which i'm quite pleased with as i've had a very stressful few weeks and in the past I know I would have totally gone off the rails & probably lost the plot for months but i've managed to keep on it & am still losing.

1lb on for me this week. Not too dismayed as I went to the theatre on Wednesday with a friend and ended up in a Mexican restaurant scoffing fajitas and swigging margaritas - as you do!!!

Peter Kay was absolutely fantastic, I haven't laughed that much in such a long time. From start to finish it was proper belly laughs & tears streaming down my face. :goodvibes

sorry to hear you had a gain :hug:

not sure why but sometimes when youre dieting, when you stick to the same things esp foods your body gets used to them.
try to eat a few different foods that you dont normally eat. summer fruits are starting to come into season so should be cheaper to buy eg strawberries/ rapsberries. these are great foods. Fresh Grapefruit is a great fat burning food, perhaps try to add it to your day.

I forgot to say that I couldn't go to my weigh in this morning as I am unble to leave my dog at home alone following his operation. It has once again been a worrying week for me but I have tried to stay on it so hopefully I will have a good loss next week.

Thanks Nat. :hug: Thankfully he is slowly showing signs that he is starting to get better although now I am really starting to stress about the lab results. I'll be glad when we know one way or another. :guilty:

Sometimes it's not about what the scales say each week I guess. It's how your clothes fit better, and the fact that you know you're getting healthier. Think of all the other benefits you're getting by exercising as well, including those lovely happy chemicals running round your brain :thumbsup2

Morning, my fellow losers!!! :laughing:

Decided to weigh-in a day earlier this week as my DH and I are off out later for a day in the West End which will most certainly include a 3 course lunch and wine!!! ;) :thumbsup2 :cloud9:

So, I'm pleased to report that this week I have lost 1.5lbs so am now 0.5lb under goal!!! :cool1:

PS: I just wanted to say how much I appreciate this thread - I don't attend classes or anything like that so posting here really gives me a focus.
