Hi there,

I have been attempting to lose weight since January, I am aiming to lose about 3 stone. For the last six weeks or so I seem to have lost my willpower and hence not really changed.

I have lost a total of 22.5lb (just over 1.5 stone). On Monday I booked my hol to WDW so I am feeling the need to get the rest off.

Congrats to all loses and good luck for the coming week.

Welcome to Nat's Fat Club Michele - you have done really well so far. I know what you mean about losing the momentum. My difficulty is I'm back at a size where I feel more comfortable so there's less of an urge to keep going - that and the fact that I have no willpower whatsoever :rotfl:

:sad2: Well, it's not good news here - despite my last-minute efforts to undo the damage that the booze-and-BBQ-filled weekend did, I have gained 5lbs this week. I am so ashamed :guilty:

:hug:Don't beat yourself up hun, you've had a great weekend, and I know you'll get back on track soon :wizard:Good Luck for next week

i don't think,i posted last week & i lost 3 lb.
however this week,i did an experiment and had some, tomato, cucumber, red onion & tuna,in a bowl, with a slice of brown bread, every afternoon, but still drunk loads of water & did lots of walking.i was trying to decide, whether to stop lipotrim & join a slimming club instead.
well i was absolutely gutted today,as i stayed the same!!!!!!!!!!!!
definately staying,on the shakes,as this week has proved to me,that it is the way for me.
good luck to everyone, with your weigh ins, this week,
tracy

:yay:Well done on losing 3lbs and STS this week Tracy

Welcome aboard Michele, well done on your weight loss so far :thumbsup2 what diet are you following ??

Thanks for the welcome,

I've been attanding my local Weight Watchers club with my boss.

...1st June is the start of Atkins again for me. I know it works for me as I have lost over 3 stone on it. I just need to knuckle down and do it.....Oh, forgot to say. I stopped smoking 2 weeks ago and it is so hard not to eat!!
Good luck with the diet! And well done for stopping smoking!! :thumbsup2

...I knocked it on the head week before last and weighed in 7lbs lighter today (for the last 2 weeks) so i'm really pleased with that....Hopefully i've found what works for me now and i'm happy with that so we'll see. Having booked to go back next year is a big incentive too...
Glad you're back on track, Paula-Jane!!! :goodvibes

I put 2lbs on this week :sad1: Must try harder at work to say no to snacks and go to the gym more.
Don't be too hard on yourself, Claire! You have done so well and everyone has a blip now and then... I bet you lose those couple of pounds next week... :)

Week one weigh in - lost 2lb
Great start, Jackie... :woohoo:

...I lost 0.7kg this week and passed the 30kg gone stage :yay: I can't get over how good it feels to be able to go into any old shop and actually know that I could buy the clothes there if I wanted to :) I've got about another 13.5kg to go and I know that come hell or high water I'll get there...
That's such a great feeling, Jakki!!! You are doing fabulously!!! :worship::worship::worship:

...despite my last-minute efforts to undo the damage that the booze-and-BBQ-filled weekend did, I have gained 5lbs this week...
That's a shame, Joh! Fingers crossed you lose those pounds asap, hun... :grouphug:

I am exactly in that place at the moment - there's no way I'm going to get to my birthday target which I'm disappointed about but I just don't have that motivation I had before... Ah well, fingers and everything crossed for the upcoming week... :cool2:

I just want to look and feel confident a couple of stone would be great but i'm realistic and would just go for loosing me belly:rotfl: Since christmas i have dropped a dress size so i just want to look nice have brought myself a trampette and wanrt to get some weights for that and i suppose i need to invest in a set of scales. what date do you post your loses on??? might make me a bit more disciplined and if the nice weather decides to come out i should loose more.

We all weigh in on different days so you can choose a day to suit you ! always try and weigh in on the same day/time for a true picture.

I think going by dress size is a very sensible option.

I also tend to find it easier to lose weight in the summer, it makes eating salad more bearable :rotfl2:

has anyone bought the new, keep fit game, for the wii?
the one where you wear,the strap,round your leg.just wondering,if its worth investing in.can't decide,if i would use it,or not & would like,peoples opinions,on it.maybe,i woild use it more,in the winter,when you can't,get out walking so much.decisions,decisions!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep a food diary, write down everything that you eat. I do it with weightwatchers and it helps keep me on track.

I saw that last nite advertised i think you would be better doing it yourself.
I never brought into the whole wii fit but i think a few people on here did maybe they will be better to let you know it's a lot easier to walk in the summer but in the winter i decided to decorate rooms that really made me trim up and i actually liked seeing myself in the christmas photos!

Congratulations Nat tbh i know it was a long long time since the last meet but i would not consider that you need to loose weight. Bet you feel great a real confidence boost.

:banana:Well done on dropping your first dress size

Ive lost 1lb this week :cool1: im back down to my lowest weight !

:cool1: Well done Nat, you must be chuffed to bits

I have weighed in a day early, as I might be going to an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet for lunch (Mmm)

I'm happy to have STS this week (especially after our night away in Brum)

:wizard:Good Luck for next week everyone:wizard:

Thanks for the welcome,

I've been attanding my local Weight Watchers club with my boss.

I do WW too, although I don't attend classes - I love the freedom I get with WW to eat what I want (within - or maybe sometimes without ;) - reason)

Eloise, a sensible approach would be to look at just gradually cutting down what you're eating. Think about any non-necessary food you consume (ie snacks, sauces etc) and consider replacing/removing them. No need to post your actual weight at all. Welcome aboard :)
