Dis Dieters Week beginning 3rd March 08

My problem is that I don't know what more I can do. I'm actually starting to worry about going out for a curry tomorrow night as I know I will put on weight - it's crazy, I don't usually let it bother me, but I'm trying so hard with eating properly and exercising, that just a little loss would make my day

:wizard: :wizard: Lots of Luck to us all next week:wizard: :wizard:

Mandy life should not be like that Mate  a few pounds here and there is not that big a deal....enjoy your night out and have fun :)

Hi Guys The fat mans back:rotfl2:

I've had a change joined weightwatchers a week last Thursday:thumbsup2

not one (1) Bloke:confused3 eyed very suspiciously by my fellow members
actually thought at one point i'd joined a gay chapter:rotfl2:

anyway book me down for 2.5lbs off. Having a comparatively easy
time on weightwatchers, not as hard as i expected
see less of ya all next week

Natalie is absolutely right, you have to carry on living your life despite dieting. But it is demoralising when you've followed your diet all week just to be floored by what should be a fun night out. It's such a shame that any celebration revolves around food.

I've lost so much weight in the past year that everyone thinks I must be pleased but most of the time I'm terrified that I'll put it all back on again.

Good luck to everyone. :grouphug:

At our WW meeting we are encouraged to measure ourselves and then leave it 4-6 weeks before doing it again. Sometimes when you have not lost weight your measurements may have changed.
It's very annoying when you don't loose weight and you know you have been good.
Best of luck for next week everyone.

:wizard: Good Luck to you too Kellie, lets hope we'll all have a good loss next week

That's a good idea, maybe I'll start measuring myself - thanks for that :thumbsup2

I know exactly what you mean!!! I'm supposed to be going out with my DH this evening for our regular Friday night date at a local restaurant but secretly I don't want to - and that's no way to live!!!

I'm just going to have to stop obsessing about it for a while...

Mandy go out and enjoy yourself! Don't let your diet dominate and take over your life. Dieting is about it fitting into your life style and not the other way around. One night of curry and loads of wine isnt going to put 10lbs on!!
I think your problem is that you havent got a lot to lose and so its so much harder for you. you therefore need to change what your eating, the times your eating, and maybe have 6 small snacks throughout the day instead of 3 meals. This will kick start your body for a kick off.And remember never let yourself go beyond hungry as then your body will respond by storing what you do eat and turning it into fat, as it thinks your never going to eat again!!
sorry for the ramblings on...have a lovely night out!!:wizard:

 Thanks for your advice Jeanette, you're right, it's alway hard to shift that last half a stone

That's an interesting idea, Jeanette! :thumbsup2 I might try that myself as I need a change... :goodvibes
