dis dieters week beginning 2nd april.......

OK, time for me to join in I guess! I started following weight watchers (again :rolleyes1 ) last week. I figured I have 16 months to get thin for my DL trip (plus I can't be fat in Hollywood!). I've done weightwatchers before so I know it works and have decided to do it at home (I'm putting the £5 meeting fee away for myself each week so I can use it to go on a shopping spree once at goal!) I've set myself mini goals and decided on rewards I will get when I reach them, hopefully that will keep me motivated!

So last week I lost 2.5lb, not a great start but hoping for more this week.
So 2.5lb down 5 stone 4lb to go :scared1:

Good luck Danauk! :goodvibes

Well done Kaylee, Nat and everyone else!

Ive lost 1lb this week, not great but better than nothing I suppose!

Hi Danauk, I think you've done brilliantly for your first week. Stick with it - plus it's better to come off at a steady loss - so I keep getting told. I'm starting mine again after my easter trip to DLP.:cheer2:

I only lost a pound last week, and am dreading this week, as I'm sure I've put on !!

Can anyone give me some advice, please. I have lost 2 st over the last couple of years but have been struggling to get the last stone off. I have been with slimming world but am wondering if WW may be able to help me with the last bit. Will I be hungry on WW? I don't know. I'm planning on going back to a class after easter but I can't make my mind up which one to go to.:confused3

i am a huge fan of WW, however it doesn't suit everyone :) it maybe that you need to step up your excersise levels slightly now you are nearer your target  ( i hate excersise !! ) or maybe cut your portion sizes slightly

give WW a try you have nothing to lose (except weight;) )

good luck x x

I forgot to put in my weight loss for this week. I only lost a pound. I have been ill with tonsillitis and sinusitis so I decided not to do the 6 day body makeover. However I started it on Tuesday, so I'll see what the result is on Monday.

I also recommend weight watchers!
They have 2 plans the points plan and the core plan, i have been on them both, i think there both as good as each other. On the points your food intake is based on points, and you have roughly about 20 points a day.
The core plan involves having 3 meals a day(eat til you feel full) and fruit/veg in between if you are hungry. Give it a go! you may find going to ww and being on a different kind of diet plan, may give your body the boost it needs to lose the final stone!:)

Well it's also about time I joined in! I re-joined Slimming World last week and so have had about half a week sticking to it.
I have my first weigh in tonight so I will let you all know later what that is!
I have even got myself a little counter now! I am aiming to lose that amount by the time I go to Florida in December :thumbsup2

Really fantastic thread!

Since New Year I've lost 21lb, but it really slowed down in March, about 1lb a week.

Then, miraculously, in the first week of the school holidays, I lost 3lb! Whoo!

Only 23lb to go!

Would be nice if I was actually in some of the holiday photos this year!
