:wizard: Good luck Katie. Mmm, just been thinking about all that lovely Disney food and I can feel my shorts getting tighter :rotfl2: Have you got free dining ? we have

:wizard: Good luck Tina. I'm going to cut back on bread, cakes, biscuits etc too, and I will try not to eat after 6pm as well

And how long have you been a Moderator ?? :rotfl2::rotfl2: Only joking hun, I don't know how to post a poll either :rotfl::rotfl:

:wizard: Good Luck Sue, the dance dvd sounds like fun, I hope it keeps you motivated hun

Not Free dining but All Inclusive Dining and drinking - this is our Jamaica trip - I can feel the pounds piling on already :rotfl:

Katie

Mandy I have a cross trainer at home and a wii fit, I am also going to get the Davina dvd! I just find it so difficult to get to the gym with shift work, especially after getting up at 5am!!

I also keep a food diary I find this helps! Good luck everyone!

I think it is the hardest part....standing on the scales for the first time:rolleyes1....

I totally agree, once that's out of the way the work can begin ::yes::

Of course you can Tracy :) Only 5lbs in 3 weeks, that's pretty good, I can put that on during my flight over :rotfl: Welcome back and :wizard: Good Luck

going to bite the bullet and join you all, in the last 2 years I have managed to put on 2 stone, and it's really starting to bug me now, it just keeps creeping up. everyone (especially Colin who keeps buying me treats!) is on strict orders not to buy me any goodies or wave them in my face. my target will be to wear my Ohana dress that I bought at the Polynesian to my character breakfast in December, so for it to fit comfortably I need to lose 20lb in 14 weeks, that's realistic I hope. now the kids have gone back to school I have no excuse. as I'm not following anything specific will weigh in every couple of weeks or so.
good luck everyone, fingers crossed we all get to our goals x

Slimming World reckon that if you do their diet you can lose 10lb in 4 weeks.... I didnt manage it :-( but there were 2 people in the class that did... shows that it works.

Good luck

Katie

having done everydiet under the sun, and then some, i would say ww is the best;)

the only one i havent done is atkins as it is just soooo unhealthy...

good luck louise, we need to keep each other on track:rotfl:

Bonjour ma' ladies!! :goodvibes

I too am one of those constant yo-yo dieting people, and am definitely in need of a kick up the you-know-what.

I'm hoping to join you ladies, but will give it a week or two first to get back into my routine of work and uni (hope that doesn't sound like an excuse haha :rotfl:) before I start proper.

I've tried most diets like WW and various ones that you find in the mags, and I even resorted to "Lighter Life" 2 years ago (don't even go there - LL was pretty much the most expensive and most horrendous and painful 10 weeks of my life :scared1:). So this time, I plan to cut out the pesky bread as much as possible, and stick to around 1000 calories a day (for the first month or two anyhow...).

I'm also about to buy an exercise bike, and also have my Wii fit, so hopefully I will be raring to go soon :goodvibes

I know that if I really put my mind to it, I can do it, but something always catches me off guard and knocks me off track. But not this time 'ey?! :)

I'm not sure how often to weigh in either - I hate seeing what I weigh, and haven't done so in years , so I'm not sure if weekly weigh ins are for me. Hopefully, I'll notice it with my clothes...

Anyhow, we shall see.....:goodvibes

Good luck to everyone on here!

YOU CAN DO IT, IF YOU PUT YOUR *SS INTO IT!!! :rotfl::lmao:

Ladies,

I have been overweight for years, lost 3 stone 3 years ago and put it back on as soon as I stopped writing down what i was eating, thinking that I would be ok.......but like everyone else I thought wrong.

I am doing WW started 7th July and so far I have lost 16lbs, not exercising apart from taking the dogs out and walking at a leisurely pace.

I generally have the same breakfast (toast n honey) take a packed lunch and write down everything I eat. My hubby is doing it too, he has lost 9lbs.

I am going to WDW June 2011 and we have broken it into 50 sleep chunks, my goal is to lose 10lbs each 50 days, it might feel easier *** I have a small goal to aim for.

Weigh in day is tomorrow I hope I do ok.

Stay motivated :)

We'll be here when you're ready Bethan :thumbsup2 I think you're right to wait till you're back into your routine before you start. Weekly weigh-ins aren't for everyone, you could weigh monthly, or like you say when you notice a difference in your clothes

:wizard: Good luck hun

I have Davina's dvd, an exersise bike, various wii workouts... i get a lot of calories burned when i dust them all:lmao:
