Welcome to another week of dieting guys :)

How are you getting on ? I hope it wasn't too hard to diet over the weekend

Rumour has it that I might be investing in some trackie bottoms and joining a Zumba class soon, I want to, but I just can't get motivated to leave the house on these cold, dark evenings. Hopefully I'll give myself a kick up the bum and join one in the next week or so

:yay: Well done to everyone who lost or STS last week .. :yay:

:wizard: .. and lots of luck for this weeks weigh-in too :wizard:

Hey Mandy, mind if I join back in

I put on 13lbs over 5 weeks in Florida last summer (I blame all those Rainbow Tini's :rolleyes1 ) I managed to shift 6 of them as soon as I got home but have been struggling with the last 8lbs since then. Christmas came and went and so did the excuses, so I started back last week.

I'm weighing in Kg again and needed to loose 5kg to get back to goal, I lost 1 last week but already started "feeling the pressure" this week so I'm hoping for a loss. I know what I need to do but it's just doing it that's the problem :surfweb: hopefully you guys can give me a kick up the backside

Good luck to everyone else this week and get those trackie bottoms on Mandy :goodvibes

Hi all.

Mandy - I went to look at the gym by us on Saturday as Shelby had a birthay party in the sports hall there, it looked quite nice but I need to see how much it works out to be.

Tinktattoo- Good luck with your first week!

I stayed the same this week - which is fine. I wasn't expecting a loss tbh! :)

Good luck to everyone weighing this week. :thumbsup2

Hiya,

is it ok if I join in? I'm currently trying to loose baby weight :rolleyes1 aye well, I suppose it should be called finding out you're pregnant and eating everything in sight weight LOL. I get weighed on a Wednesday and basically am starting again as I put on 2.5lb over Christmas/New Year and have lost that again so now it's time to get on with it. I go to Zumba once a week (used to be more but creche costs a fortune for 2 kids) and do the 10 min walk to nursery 4 times a day dropping off and collecting Paige. I also have a dance game for the wii and am trying to make time to do a few songs a day,

Hi. I would like to join in too if thats ok. I need some support.
We are going away in September and i need to loose 2 and a half to 3 stone!!!
I know that this could be pushing it a little as i want to do it properly with no crash diets.

I have started brisk walking once a day for half an hour, and we have just started beginners ski lessons (1hr a week, and more falling over at the moment than ski-ing :rotfl2:), so hopefully it will be do-able?!?!?

I am going to try and break this down into mini targets so as not to overwhelm myself too much :/

Has any-one got any tips??

Well fingers crossed, and good luck to every-one. Will let you know how i get on.

Morning all

Welcome to all the newbies, well done to all those that lost and sts last week, and good luck to everyone for this week.

I have lost 5lbs this week, however its nothing to do with dieting as such as Im home ill at the moment with Gastroenteritis which is no fun whatsoever, Ive been ill since Friday and have only been able to take fluids so I knew I would have a loss, but not the way I would have liked to have lost it:sad2:

Good luck this week all:goodvibes

Hope you feel better soon Sue

I have STS, a little disappointed, but I am so hungry some days. I can only eat so much fruit and veg:lmao:

on the plus side my DH has lost over 1/2 stone and DD13 has lost 4lbs this week.:goodvibes

Good luck the everyone:yay:

Welcom to the new posters!

Sue  i hope you feel better soon, that is not a fun way to lose weight at all!

Andrea - well done!

loss this week 1.9 kgs or 4.2 lbs total loss 5.8 kgs or 12.8 in 2 weeks, I am feeling quite good about my efforts, but dang hungry at the moment. :)

Hello to all, old and new.

Well done to the losers and those who STS. Sue I hope you're feeling lots better.

I didn't weigh this week, but I have had a good week as far as exercise goes - I'm feeling right in the swing of it now. Zumba is great fun - even if I can't keep up with the steps (that happens quite a lot!) I just jig around on the spot. I figure any movement must help. :rotfl:

Managed to lose a lb this week...even though Saturday I was on track for a 4lb lose. Just happened that weigh in has coincided with my 'time of the month' :sad2: Still, a lb is a lb :thumbsup2

Well done everyone and keep going! :goodvibes

Hiya, I want to lose 4 stone before my holiday in September:scared1:......but I just think of it in smaller chunks.....2lb a week and I will be on target:thumbsup2

I have had great motivation this week....I bought a New Tankini ( 2 sizes smaller than I am now)....I have hung it on my bedroom door and when I wake up in the morning it's the first thing I look at, which makes me jump out of bed and do my Davina DVD:cool1:

This is my new Tankini

I went to my first Zumba class last night (with my new trackie bottoms :rotfl2:) and I absolutely loved it, you're right Bev, it's lots of fun even though I was all over the place :rotfl: I enjoyed it so much that I'm hoping to go back tonight too :thumbsup2

I lost 0.5kg this week so I'm pleased enough with that and have 3.5kg to go.

Good luck everyone for this week

 Well done Jakki, you'll be at your target in no time ::yes::

What is Zumba? :confused3

Stacey

Stacey, Zumba is a like an aerobic dance class to latin american/mumba music and you do different dance routines (and there's lots of wiggling of your bum too :rotfl:), it really is lots of fun

Well done!! I think my stomach has started to shrink now, as I am no longer hungry like I was when I first started the diet.

I need to join a gym or class or something, it's just having the time for me to go, as I work and have two kids so fitting it in is difficult....... yes I know excuses excuses :rotfl:

Well done a lb is a lb! It was like that for me this weekm but I stayed the same, I don't mind as long as I don't put on!

Love it! I looked at that one, but I wasn't sure it would stand up to the Crush N Gusher ;)

Well done that is great!

Well I just had a sausage sandwich, but I did grill them on my George and had small sliced bread - not as many points in that! ;) I will only have my fruit through the day now so hopefully I can get away with my sausages!

Well done everyone this week so far, I'm not going to weigh myself this week... had a very bad week... but back to the gym tomorrow, better to fall off and get back on the wagon than never get back on it at all. :goodvibes
