DIS DIETERS THREAD ~ w/c 17th January '11

Indian meal points:

chicken tikka ( 8 pieces ) - 14 points ( the least points per main course )
poppadom - 4 points
plain rice 12 points
naan bread - 12 points

what would you normally have Rachel ?

I would normally have chicken tikka masala but I know its really heavy on points and plain rice. I will have chicken tikka. I think I read some where Saag aloo or bombay potatoes are 8 points is this right.?
If it is I would have that instead of rice and take this out of my weekly allowance. A couple of people have said im not eating enough with the gym work outs but Im finding the thought of using the 49 weeklies a bit scary and worried I will put on :scared1:

Irenep - I wonder too if you aren't having enough, sometimes it works the opposite way and your body stores fat rather than getting rid of it.

Beth - good luck with the 1200 calories - I couldn't managed on that when I tried it, I just couldn't eat enough for that! :rotfl:

I think I will stay the same this week, I have my monthly visitor and I'm feeling really bloated. :(
 
I am really frustrated with the scales today, I have sts but not sure why I worked out at the gym this week and did extra work outs at home and went on a 6 mile walk at the weekend. I have also stuck to my eating plan.:headache::headache:

oh well i shall try harder next week, although its my dads 60th on Sunday and he wants to for an Indian anybody have any ideas on what I could eat that wont ruin the week?

As for myself, I drowned my sorrows with a Costa Latte and black forest cupcake :blush: Oh well, back on track now ;)
 
STS for me too. I had a couple of meals out at the weekend but have been good all week! Hopefully I can shift a lb this week!
