Yay ! It's May, and another month closer to the Summer holidays :)

So, how is your dieting coming along ? Well I hope ::yes:: If you can, will you post how much you have lost so far, and how much more you would like to lose to reach your target/next mini target

As I'll be away during May, I have done this thread for the whole of May, and hopefully I'll go back to a weekly thread in June

I had my weigh in on Friday, and lost 3.5 lbs !

Very happy with that, but admittedly didn't have the best of the weekends - with all the royal wedding celebrations, hot weather and BBQ! But I'm going to go for it over the week, will be in the gym too - so hopefully i will have at least STS by the time Friday comes around again! :goodvibes

Good luck everyone - the sun makes it more motivating to keep up the good work (but annoyingly presents more opportunities to eat and drink!!)
 
can't believe yet another week has passed by.

Weigh in on Wednesday as usual. Am definitely going to WW this week, I've missed 5 due to appointments, school holidays/children's illness and working. Time to get the Wii Fit out again and perhaps stopping eating so much might help.

I have another 4 stone to lose (I've lost 2 1/2 stones so far) but it's been such a slow process. At the beginning of the year I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid which I thought would be the reason why the weight stopped coming off but after 3 months on medication there's not been any real improvement. My aim is to lose 1 1/2 stone before we go to WDW in August - I think 7lbs a month should be do-able.

Hopefully when the next dieter's thread appears I'll have some good news to post!

2 and 1/2 stones is amazing!! And although its been a slow process, don't be too down-heartened as they say that the slower it comes off , the easier it is to keep it off!

well.... I braved the scales this morning. No great surprises and I'm back where I was at the beginning of March (5lbs on since my last 'official' weigh in). I've now pledged with some friends to lose 2lbs this week. Just going to have to keep my hands busy (wish I could knit!).

Can I come and join you all please? I normally hang out on the Disneyland Paris board but pop over here occasionally.

I joined Slimming World in late January and have so far lost 2 stone 9.5lbs. Ideally I would like to lose at least another 3 stone but haven't set myself a final target yet.

I weigh in on Tuesday nights and didn't lose anything this week (think the Easter excess were catching up on me) - hoping that I will have a couple more pounds of next week.

Good luck to everyone else trying to lose those pounds.

well i lost only 1lb this week, suppose its better than nothing!!
 
Anyone else weighed in this week yet?

I have another 3.5lbs off so am just 1lb away from 3 stone off since Jan. Was pleased this week so have just had some chocolate as a little treat!
 
Well done on the losses so far for May :) Hopefully with the prospect of the summer weather coming up it will keep us all motivated.

Ive managed to lose another 2lbs over the last 2 weeks. Making my total loss so far 39lbs/ 2st 11lbs.

I now have just 1.5lbs to reach my goal weight and that coveted WW gold card ive been trying to get my hands on :)

I put on 7lb:cool1: in the three weeks over easter:scared1:......but I did have a lovely time:rotfl:

anyway, I weighed today and I lost 6lb this week.....I'm sooo pleased, still have to loose that extra lb plus alot more but it's got me thinking more positivly again. I'm now ready to face another week dieting....:cool1:

I've found the last month so hard and have been playing at being on a diet. I've been up and down for the same pound and a half for weeks.

Hoping to keep focussed this week.

I've been good this week....I went to circuits on Friday and exercised both on Sat and Sun for an hour.....my legs are killing today:lmao:

anyway....i thought I would get on the scales today....not weigh in till Wed, but couldn't resist.....wish I hadn't.....put on 1lb:scared1:....lets hope it looks better on wed:rotfl:
 
I had lost my focus the last couple of weeks:confused3
but have started again with a renewed determination so I will be back on the scales on friday
