Welcome to the December Dieting thread everyone. So who is still keeping up the good work ? I must admit that with all the lovely food and snacks around for the festive season it is very hard to be good, but at least I haven't been going over the top (like I usually do) and I seem to be able to maintain my weight :)

Its an STS for me this week despite having baked mince pies, rocky road pie and sausage rolls this weekend!
Am trying to say to myself that the more I eat now the less I can eat later :rotfl:.

Also struggling with getting up to go the gym, but going always makes me eat more!!!

Lets all keep it up for another couple of weeks to give us some breathing room :rotfl:

:blush: I'll be honest and admit that I haven't weighed myself today as I've been rather naughty this week (blame the return of Pringles to the mandymouse household :rolleyes1), and as it's the start of 3 party weekends, I doubt I'll be venturing back on the scales till the New Year now

I had my weigh in at SW last night and lost 4 and a half lbs, am hoping to lose at least another half stone before Xmas. :goodvibes

I lost 2lbs this week, bringing my total to 11 pounds, hoping to get to my first stone before xmas - fingers and toes crossed of course!!! :laughing:

It is very hard this time of year what with all the festive foods, parties etc & not to mention the cold weather, that always makes me eat more. :rolleyes:

I haven't weighed in this week as my class was on Tuesday & I was in DLRP. I will be weighing in next Tuesday though. :wizard:

went to ww last night and lost 1 1/2lbs :cool1:
only another 1 1/2lbs to lose until i get to my first stone :)
apparently its the last weigh in next week at my local ww, but i think i will see if there is another weigh in somewhere for the xmas week, as i dont want to slip up so near to getting 14lbs off

Thats a great loss this week - how frustrating to be soo close to your stone this close to Christmas when food is everywhere you look :rotfl:

Its a 1lb loss for me this week, but have already been to the gym 3 times this week, rest day today as got loads of work on and then back to it tomorrow morning b4 work. Hopfully if i can do this again next week it'll give me a little more room for that extra mince pie :rotfl2:

Feeling a little more positive now after feeling miserable about and disenchanted with the new WW ProPoints plan.

Lost 1.5lbs last week and, since Monday, lost another 1.5lbs. Haven't been following it strictly, but certainly cutting down what I've been eating, the amount I'm eating and increasing my fruit and veg intake :thumbsup2

Anything I can lose before Xmas now is a bonus...I'm just dreading putting it all back on!

At my lowest now that I've been since I was 17 years old - 11st 6lbs :goodvibes Lost 34lbs in total :banana:

Well done to everyone this week, even if you've put a little bit on! Its not easy during the christmas period, what with all the parties and tempting goodies!

Hi all

Have been missing for a few weeks now but still been watching what I have been eating and my weight has pretty much stayed the same.

I went for a health check through work this week and got some good and pleasing results, my weight is pretty much bang in the middle of the scale for my height and body make up so was pleased with that. I still think I could suffer to lose a few more pounds or at least lose a bit more body fat as although I am no longer Philoctetes' shape I am still a long way from Hercules' shape. My BMI says I am overweight but I am not so concerned about this now and have taken this off my ticker. I still plan to lose a little and then the hard part will be maintaining over the Xmas period.

So well done to all those here who are trying and good luck with the those weigh ins.
