I am very interested in the demographics of this area. Being a male under 30 I am wondering how many others out there are similar and different to me.

I find sometimes find it strange that I enjoy disney so much, but am wondering about everyone else here on this great website!

im 17... some of my friends have "real" hobbies like baseball and such... nope not me i like disney:)

Nope just trying to let my curiosity run wild. Just want to know who is here and reading what.

This poll is quite interesting, and is supporting my initial hypothesis, that there are more women than men here, but also that there are more older women who use this site to both plan, reminisce and express excitement about Disney World. But there are definitely a lot of people from the other categories too, making me feel a little more at home in this environment.

Get the replies coming, the more stats we get the more accurate the results.

I am confused on how to answer.
I am a female 35. Do I answer "under 35" or "over 35".
I prefer "under" so that is how I will answer:p

"but also that there are more older women "
Ok watch that Older women stuff!! Interesting results, but really just replied to bump the thread!

Male 45; first time grandfather on 5/31/02 and still a kid at heart.

These results have become quite interesting. The male vote has pulled off in the lead by a lot.

I am female, age 33. I would have guessed the demographics to be more female than male. Maybe they aren't voting.

Wow...I don't like falling into the "older woman" category!
It seems most of my friends/relatives don't understand that Disney is more than the Magic Kingdom. DH and I are both 38 and we honeymooned at Disney in 1997. When I tell people that they look at me like I'm crazy! They don't understand why we don't want to lay on a beach and drink our whole vacation away....
We have a great time planning what we're going to do and where we're going to eat at Disney. There is SO much to do there. Next year will be our fourth trip together and we still have a list of things we haven't had a chance to do yet!
Plus DS (4) had been to WDW twice now and there is nothing better than seeing your little boy at Disney!

Male and 40. Disney has become a family hobby. My DW and I also enjoy planning our next trip. My DD (4) and I pin trade every week with each other. I was thinking tonight that since she knows the characters so well, it has been the perfect hobby that we can share together. Disney is so universal that it bridges all ages and offers something that everyone can share.

She is a tough trader and gets the better of me, though:-) I think might turn her loose in Downtown Disney next trip!

Female and 25 here..........although I have been a "Disney freak" ever since I was 13.

21 yo female....................... it now seems like the women have been voting.

I am a little uncertain about your 'vote catagories' though.

53 y/o 'girl' here. Just a thought for all of us, ahem, 'older ladies'...age matters only in wine and cheese. I prefer to think of myself as a finely aged wine. (note the lack of the letter h in wine!!)
