In Canada that's all that goes on Boxing Day...

But I am sure it is the LAST place you'd want to visit.

In Melbourne, it's summer. There are alternatives . Most of them involve sport.
1. Boxing Day Test match in Melbourne. Starts 10.30 or 11 am. Goes all day and over 5 days. First day had a crowd attendance of over 72K, second day had a crowd attendance of over 53K. Today is the 3rd day.
2. Sydney to Hobart yatch race. Start time 1 pm. TV coverage starts from noon.
3. A sailing regatta in Melbourne also kicks off on Boxing Day.
4. And Boxing Day is the start of the 'summer blockbusters' at the cinemas.


I chose the LAST option.
