Remember how I said ds23 was going to Boston to see a friend. Well the other guy who was suppose to go didnt so ds drove himself all the way.
His car has over 90K and a bad transmission. So today he calls us and says he is broken down in Conneticut. He doesnt know where etc. He finds out where he is. We have to take the ferry from Port Jefferson NY to Bridgeport Ct, to get him. It was alot closer than driving. So dh looked at the car. The transmission is shot. So now ds car is in Ct and we dont know what to do. He is looking into towing it or donating it to the same charity that I donated mine too. They also have 2 offices in Ct, so that is good.
It was nice having the ferry ride, but with all my dizzy issues it was not god. I mostly stayed inside. It was sunny but cold out and the motion was not good, plus walking upstairs with my bad knee etc. On the way home I just stayed in the van down below, but even then it was rocky as a storm was coming. I did look outside and we saw the moon . It was orange and really nice. Actually that is the farthest I have ever been since FL in dec.
So now ds will need to buy himself a new car, worry about getting to his 2 jobs (thank heavens the other 2ds have spring break this week) and then he also might have jury duty.
It should be a "fun" week around here.
