Are you doing the heated version of IP chemo? How is it instilled? (If you don't mind me asking. I have a friend I just talked to a few days ago who may be looking at this as well.)
No, I don't mind you asking questions. I wish I could find someone who could answer some of my questions, lol.
After the Cisplatin is mixed and bagged, the chemo nurse wraps the bag in a heating pad until they are ready to start administering it. I haven't felt any cramping during that infusion, thus far, and I've had four rounds. I have the Taxol first through my IV port and then the Cisplatin immediately after that through the IP port which is near the top of my rib cage on my left side.
