Phillip and I are very excited about this trip and can't wait to hear the details! Any idea of when the details will be released? I know how costly those ABD trips are and if we can swing it, I'll be making payments on that and the 2010 podcast cruise at the same time!:scared1:

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Please let me know if you and Phillip decide to go. My Mom is dying to do this trip. She' already got my FF miles spent on two First Class upgrades

As I told Pete when we were getting on the bus, this may be my Birthday present to myself. I would love to celebrate with you!

It would be our Christmas, birthday, and anniversary gifts to ourselves for sure, but I'm anxious to see the pricing. :rolleyes1

It would be my birthday present too (Kathy - our birthdays are 2 days apart!) and am dying for more details. Not sure I can do this and the cruise, but that doesn't mean I don't want to try!

Pete posted on the other ABD thread that right now the pricing looks like $2,219 per person double occupancy...he said might go down a bit more.
That is just the tour price, doesn't include airfare, but does include the tour, most meals, all tips and gratuities (except for the your actual tour guides), 1 night at the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood and 4 nights at the Disney Grand Californian (which looks gorgeous) $3,100 for a single person.

Kristen, we have the makings of a pretty good party here. Kevin's B-Day is two days before mine. You, Kevin, Walter and me all celebrating Birthdays, sounds like a great time!!!!

Can I go if I don't have a birthday until August?!?!?! :rotfl2::confused3:lmao::confused3:rotfl:

Alicia and I were excited to hear about this event but unfortunately we are priced out of it. A lot of trips planned for the next year, to include the 2010 cruise. Happy and sad. :)

I really want to go on this!! I do not see how we can afford it...but there is always the lotto?? :lmao: :lmao:

We will have more details on this weeks show. We have everything set-up to start taking reservations - we are just waiting for ABD to get us a contract and final pricing. As was mentioned earlier the pricing we are seeing so far is:

Adult: $2219
Child (4 - 14): $1959 (no children under 4 allowed)
Single Supplement: $3107
Deposit: $300/person

Price includes all fees, taxes and gratuities - except tips for the tour guides. Does not include airfare, transfers or trip insurance.

Again, these prices could change and even be less, but my guess is not much less.

The trip is definately 4/13 - 4/19/2009. Pete, Walter, Kevin and I are all going. The tour holds 40 people max and we are taking 4 spots. This means we will only have 36 open spots on this tour - it will fill fast.

This trip will be exclusive to Dreams Unlimited Travel. You will not be able to book this trip any other way than through Dreams. This also means it will only be DISers/Podcaster listeners.

We have been told the tour will be identical to last years so I have copy and pasted all of the info from last year below. If something changes don't balme me - I am just repeating what I was told :lmao:

In addition I'm sure we will have some cool stuff planned and special surprises along the way.

John

Sorry - you are correct. I was in 'cruise mode' when I wrote that.

Transfers within your adventure and to/from the airport designated for the adventure/hotel are included.

They are not included if you choose a different aiport to fly into/out of or you decide to arrive early or stay longer.

Sorry about that.

No problem, I thought something changed. You never know with Disney!
I think the designated airport is LAX.

This is going to fill fast. I hope that I'm quick enough to get a spot. My birthday isn't in April either Tonya.

OK. Darn it. I'm traveling on Wednesday and may not have online access until Monday (Memorial Day). Crud. Sounds like my chances of booking may be slim unless the darned thing goes up BEFORE the show.

Not to mention that I have to convince Phillip that doing THIS and Podcast Cruise #2 in the same year is a good thing.

:headache:

Bring the lightsaber!

Do you even have to ask!?!?!? :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

Does this mean you want to do a Drink Around California Adventure? :rolleyes1 Is that even possible? I am going to have to start my research on Disneyland right away to get up to speed!!!!!!!

We should have an Unbirthday Party with the Mad Hatter!!!!

If Day 2, the Hollywood night on your own, is during the week, I would be thrilled to meet up with everyone for dinner. I work in Hollywood and live just over the hill in Burbank, so it would be very easy for me to pop over and say hi. I know of a couple good places in the area, including an extremely famous, but unmentionable, southern restaurant... ;)

PS - don't eat at the Disney Soda Shop - it's just not "all that"....

Now the Beard Papa's cream puffs shop in Hollywood and Highland - oh yeah!

The bowling alley in Hollywood and Highland is a really hopping joint, too!

Who's up for shabu shabu dinner and bowling?

omg i would so LOVE LOVE LOVE to do this!!....I just don't know if we'll be able to pull it off :o\ hmmm...i gotta start looking up facts so i can start buttering up dgf now...we've been wanting to do an ABD for awhile (altho we were eyeballing italy), and wanting to go to disneyland too...*makes the mouse start spinning his wheel*

WOW

Call 911!!! My heart is beating too fast even reading about this! It is exactly what my DD and I dream/talk about for a trip to DL/CA. We always wanted to this but never even knew it exsisted- EVER! I truly do not think I could stand up through the excitement of it. It is totally amazing and such a 10000000% up our alley. I can't swing this and the cruise unless I hit into $$. Even so, I would have to be "dope slapped" through the whole thing to keep me from fainting! WOW!!

:faint: :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint:
