I wonder if anyone else had a problem getting 3000 points for signing up with Directv DSL through Mypoints. I signed up in Nov/Dec, activated service in Dec and paid for my first 3 months of service. I still have not received the 3000 points. I emailed member services at Mypoints and went back and forth with them for a week verifying my membership and such and now they are asking for a letter from Directv. I have zero chance of getting a written letter from them and if I did, MyPoints doesn't give out there address or phone number. No one at Directv that I spoke with (after calling 4 numbers) has any clue what Mypoints is. I just emailed them again stating that perhaps I could provide them with monthly statements from Directv but unless they give me a name/number of a contact in Directv headquarters, no one in their customer care department is going to write me a letter of verification.
I have never had problems before with smaller payouts. Is this typical of large point awards with them?
