Director Robert Altman died

I LOVED the movie "The Player." Robert Altman was 81.

Sad to hear he passed. Nashville is one of my all time favorite films. After Gosford Park I was looking forward to another Altman gem. A very unique filmaker.

He was still making good movies! A Prarie Home Companion was one of the best reviewed pictures of the year.

My favorites are The Player and Short Cuts.

Haven't seen Prairie Home Companion yet, but I am a fan of his work. He was a fine artist and will be missed.
