Hi! We'll be dining Saturday, January 18, at Artist Point, and was wondering how easy (or difficult) it will be to get from Epcot to Wilderness Lodge. We'll be driving. Are the directions marked well enough that we'll be able to figure it out without much of a problem? I apologize, but this is the first time that I haven't used a cab or Disney transportation to get around! ;) Thanks so much for your help!!

You'll need to follow the signs for Magic Kingdom and Magic Kingdom Resorts. As a matter of fact, you'll be driving through the entrance to Magic Kingdom itself, so don't panic when you see the big Magic Kingdom sign ahead!!! Just move over to the far right lane (well, the far right lane to the left of the bus lane, which is really the farthest right lane!) and cut over to the street on the right. It will take you straight to the Wilderness Lodge - go about two blocks and turn right into the WL property.

Have a wonderful time!!!!

Slight refinement to these good directions - after going through the MK parking plaza and bearing right (instead of following the crowd to the actual parking lot) stay straight on that road until you get to your first set of lights. That's where you turn right to get to WL.

Enjoy AP - we'll be there only a few days after you.

Yes, that's what I meant!! At that point, at the stoplight, there will be a sign that says "Wilderness Lodge". Turn right and you will pass under an archway that is themed, then see the gatehouse just ahead. Enjoy!!!!

Are you staying onsite? We were at ASMu Jan. 1-6 and were given a great map at check-in. As we drove to nearly every park and for dinners, it was a big help as my dh found the signs sometimes confusing.

As navigator, I did notice some inconsistencies in signage. It is best to know the general direction you are headed ... for WL, for example, you want to go toward MK. Then, as you are closer, there are more detailed signs. However, if there are buses in your way, it is sometimes difficult to catch the signs in time.

With dh driving and me reading the map we did fine, although dh, who usually has a good sense of direction, felt like he didn't really know where he was going.
