Directions to Wal Mart amnd Outlet store?

We will at WDW IN 14 DAYS! I would like to stop at Wal mart and the Disney stores. Does anyone have the directions to these to places from the Orlando air port any help will be appreciated. Also if you could tell me how to get back to the WDW from these also. Thanks so much!

Wal-Mart is an easy one... If you are coming in from the airport on 417, the Greeneway, get off at the exit for Epcot (the first exit after the second toll plaza). When you come down the exit ramp go to the second traffic light and make a left (the road is 535, it is a weird intersection with a 7-11 on the left corner and Buena Vista Suites on the right corner). Then, I believe, it is 2 traffic lights and Wal-Mart is on the right.

To return to Disney you could go many ways, depending on what part of Disney you are trying to get to, You could go right out of the Wal-Mart Plaza and head down to 192 (the road ends at 192) and make a right, that will take you to the Magic Kingdom/Animal Kingdom side of Property. You could come out of Wal-Mart and make a left, head back to the weird intersection and make a left (that will bring you onto property in the Epcot/MGM areas... or you could go straight through the "weird intersection" and keep going down 535 and it will bring you to the entrance for Disney near Downtown Disney.

As for the Disney Stores, not sure what you are looking for, but when you turn onto 535 (at the weird intersection) the first traffic light is for the Buena Vista Outlets (they are on your left), there is a Character Connection in that Plaza which is a "outlet" Disney Merchandise...might have what you are looking for. Hope I did not confuse you with my "landmark" directions, after 11 years you would think I would know the road names.

The Character Warehouse and Character Premier are located in the Prime Outlets Mall (formally called Belz Factory Outlet Mall ) on International Drive, Orlando, Florida 32819; (407) 345-5285.

It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to get there depending on traffic at the time. Remember during the week 7am to 9:30am is rush hour and 3pm to about 6pm in the evening is rush hour.

It's around 15 miles from WDW to the Mall.

Take I-4 East (to Orlando)


Take Exit 75A, 435 South, International Drive to the first traffic light

Wet and Wild and all it's crazy slides will be in front of you to the right at the light.

Turn left (North) which is International Drive.

You'll pass several different outlet places. A cinema and a huge Bass Pro shop will be on the right.


Keep going to the Dead End. Premier Mall and the Disney Outlet stores are there at the end.



There are 2 different Disney stores in 2 different building.CHECK THEM BOTH OUT...they will have a few different items in each.

The Character Warehouse is Building 2, when you get to the dead end this mall is sort of to the right.They use to have 2 big wire looking oranges on towers out front but they are remodeling so I'm not sure those are still there.

We park out in front of that and there is a big entrance right there.Once inside Character Warehouse is on your left just before you get to the food court.

Down from the Character Warehouse on the left is a KayBee Toy Outlet. Erich likes to check out. We've gotten some good deals on Legos and Star Wars stuff in there.



You'll want to drive to the next building for:

For The Character Premier, go into Mall Building 1, Entrance #3 ,it's 5 stores from the entrance on the right.



Be advised that as you approach the Mall Area, it is extremely congested and confusing. There are several Malls and an annex.



When returning to WDW,It's tricky keep your eyes open for

I-4 WEST to TAMPA

You'll come out of the mall onto International Drive.

Get into the left lane.

There will be a big intersection,I believe Skull Kingdom is on the right at this light.

You'll make a left at this light onto Kirkman Road.

Quickly make your way into the right lane as you're I-4 sign will be coming up soon.

I can't remember the name of this road.

You'll go past restaurants,shops etc. for a few blocks.I believe you pass a HUGE McDonald's,the largest in the world!

Your I-4 to Tampa Exit will be just after the McD's

The right two lanes.

You'll find the WDW signs when you're almost back to WDW property. There are several of them ,make sure you get the one that is closet to your resort..
