I purchased a Ride-along ticket for DH to do on our trip for his 40th :bday: B-day.

I know it is outside of MK, but don't have a clue how to actually get there from our resort hotel. :confused3

Can anybody help me out with directions? We will be using the Disney transportation. I've heard we have to take a shuttle from the TTC, but I am not even sure how to get to there. HELP please!

Best advice I could give you with Disney transportation is take a bus from your resort to MK and take the monorail to TTC or you could do the same with a bus to EC and monorail from there to TTC. If you're staying at the GF, CR, or Poly, simply hop the monorail to the TTC and proceed from there. Other than that, follow the previous advice. Just for the record, there are busses from MGM and AK to the TTC as well, but I think MK or EC will work the best! ;)

Just take a bus to MK, which will take you to the TTC. I'm not sure if you can see the Richard Petty Driving Experience from the bus lanes as you're coming in. We drove our own van to MK and drove right past the track. Even heard some engines roaring. Get yourself to the TTC and ask a CM. You'll be there in no time.

I would suggest you talk to guest services at your hotel once you get on-site about transportation. I did the ride-along last year but we drove to the track. To get to the track, you drive like you are going to park for the Magic Kingdom/TTC. Just stay to the left after you drive through the "toll booths" and the track is on your left. The entrance is on the far side of the track..just stay left. You actually drive under the track to enter.

When I was there, I did not have to have a reservation, but you do need to watch the weather. If it rains, you will need to allow 2 hours after it stops for the track to dry.

You can take pictures and video if you like.

Have Fun.
