Directions to Ft Wilderness

We will be coming in from the west hitting I75 at some point, then the turnpike and then I4, correct? Also, could someone please give spicific direction to Fort Wilderness from there?

When I drove down, I chose to get off the Turnpike at route 27 rather than fight the crowds on I-4. I was on 27 for perhaps 45 minutes and then turned east on 192. Take that to the main WDW entrance with a ramp on the right side of 192. You drive straight north at that pont and follow signs for the MK. As you near the booths for MK parking get toward the far right side. Explain that you are checking into FW and you won't have to pay parking fees. You'll be directed toward a single lane on the far right side.

There will be a right hand turn lane not very far down that single lane. Turn right there and proceed maybe 1/2 mile to the FW entrance which will be on your left.

If you choose to stay on the Turnpike until I-4, I would just follow signs for MK and proceed as above. There are other ways to get there but not as easy to explain..at least for me.
