Directions from MCO to WDW? There must be a sticky I'm missing!

MapQuest says 417S to Exit 6. Can I just follow the signs from that point?

There probably is a sticky. Definitely check.

Also look in any of the last two weeks' "toll" threads. I believe that exit 6 goes unnecessarily far on 417 and is an unmanned, exact change, toll. I think if you get off one exit before you save money.

But no matter what, you will have a hard time missing all the signs and exits and advertisements and directions to WDW.

Actually exit six is the exit you want to take. Its exit 3 that goes "too far" and has the unmanned exact change toll.

Once you take exit 6, go straight. Through a big intersection then the road enters WDW. Signs inside WDW are pretty good but if you reply with your destination we can offer better advice. For some destinations, taking exit 3 and using a few quarters might be worth it!

Thank you all! Headed to the Poly. This will be my 5th time driving from MCO to WDW in the past 9 years, but this is the first time I'll be alone and at night! Want to be sure I know where I'm going. I have my roll of quarters just in case.

It is just my daughter and I when we go and I had no trouble following signs using Exit 6 last time we went (3 years ago…much too long!). The time before I went further than exit 6 (can't remember where I got off), but I ended up at AKL when I was heading for WL bc I missed a turn. I remember thinking last time that exit 6 was much easier for me.

One thing that did help me was using Google maps on my computer and looking for directions from MCO to WL. I got a good overview of what where I would be going. I did take printed directions with me, but I didn't need them.

For the Poly, get off exit 6. Keep going straight, you will pass Epcot and it will link up to World Drive. Go through the far right "toll booth", keep going straight and then make a left for the Poly.
