Hi guys! Just wondering if you guts can help me. I've been a direct tv customer for a little over 2 years so all my great prices are gone. I called them and the said $10/month discount is the best they can do, but call back if I decide to cancel, they may be able to do something else? So what kind of prices/discounts have you guys gotten after your initial discounts were over? Thanks!!!!!

I was only able to get $10 off myself. I don't know when that runs out, but it should be soon. I'm interested to know what discounts others have received for when I call back. Last time the guy tried to give me free movies, etc. but I didn't want them. It is hard to get them to discount the prices from what I have read.

I tried to get them to go more and they would not. I cancelled the service and within 5 days they sent an email with the new customer deal to come back. I had already switched to Dish and now get emails weekly from Diirectv to come back.

We recently cancelled our DirectTv and haven't looked back! We picked up an outside antenna and are using netflix. Can't believe we can pick up about 13 local stations through the antenna and we live in the middle of no where. I highly recommend looking into it.

you can get $10. off for ever one you get to sign up for directv, you give them your account number, they get $10. off their bill too!!
