Direct TV

Anyone know the cheapest way to start up with Direct TV? We had it in our old house, but when we moved we got cable. Now the cable bill is going up, so we were looking at switching to Direct TV again. I read that people were able to earn a bunch of Swagbucks by signing up, but I can't find anything on the SB site about that. Any other ideas for the best bargain for switching to Direct TV?

The best bargain we found was finding someone who had an account and using their referral code for $10 more off our bill. We were so excited to get rid of Comcast and switch...but then they came out and said we had too many trees. So we didn't end up switching, but the $10 off per month was the best deal we found.

That is what we did, too. We got a referral and got $10 off each month.

Just got off FB where a friend posted her day on the phone with DirecTv.
She signed up with Dish because they had a less expensive package with all the channels she wanted. She lives in an area with no cable, so DirecTV or Dish are her only options.

If you are a previous customer, then I'd call them and see what they can offer you. We had Directv for years and love the. In our new area it made more sense for us to go with the local cable for the phone, tv, and internet bundling. We still get really great offers from Directv to come back. So give them a call and see what they can offer you.
