Direct tv or dish network??

And truly the best approach for getting the best deal is to plan, from the start, on jumping from supplier to supplier every two years, cable to DirecTV to Dish Network and back again.

I hope I never get to the point where I need a "deal" like that!

As a long time customer, DirecTV treats me very well.

Yeah, me neither, but some folks must have the "come on" price every year or they're not happy, and since those prices are intended just to steal business from competitors, that's their only option, after a while. To each his/her own.

Had Direct TV, is was good but Customer Services stunk. I switch back to Timewarner. My Parents have Dish and they seem to love it.

We have Direct TV and lately I've been unhappy with it. We've had a lot of signal dropout lately and I DETEST WITH A BLINDING PASSION the DVR that goes with it. I miss Tivo. I adored Tivo. Tivo was intelligent and user friendly. DVR is not.
