Hey everyone! We purchased one-day tickets online. We printed the ticket, which includes a barcode for entry. The directions on how to use this are pretty vague. Do we take this to the ticket booth to get an actual ticket, or do they simply scan the barcode at the entrance? Also, we've arranged fastpasses. How do those work with this type of ticket???? Thanks for the help!

1. That's one way to do it.
2. & 3. There are CMs at the gate area that can scan the barcode and hand guests a plastic
RFID ticket (which is required for FP+) for use in the park.

I, myself, would use method #1.
(There's less a chance of a problem that could slow YOU down at the gate, and also all of those behind you in line.)

Thanks Robo! But . . . how do we get onto rides for which we have fastpasses? We won't have anything to show at the Fastpass gate.

That's what the plastic RFID ticket is for.

So take our printed ticket to the ticket booth, they'll trade it for a more formal entrance ticket, which will include the fastpasses that we've already booked?

Yes.

(You CAN do that at the entrance gates, but I'm too leery of possible issues causing a delay.)

We decided to follow the instructions and go directly to the gate. As we neared the gate holding our printed tickets, a CM came up and stopped us, scanned the barcode and gave us the plastic cards. It worked great and saved us from having to stand in two lines - one at the ticket booth and the other at the gate. No guarantee it will work that well for everyone, but there were several CM's apparently looking for people holding printed tickets.
