Direct DVC September Sales

Is this above or below what we’d expect?
October was definitely lower total WDW than September.

However, it's tricky because of how deeds show up. Monday's tend to be the day of the week with the most DVD deeds showing up. In September, there were five Mondays. One was a holiday (Labor Day), but that pushed the busy day to the day after. Only four in October. Some Mondays can be 19k (maybe even higher). Most are probably in the 10k-15k.

Other than that, I think it's pretty much in the same ball park as we've been seeing. Some standard noise variations.

Slight changes have definitely happened based on prices and what guides were pushing. Compare RIV and CFW to numbers from earlier this year. Wasn't RIV averaging around 43k for May-July? August-October around 60k. CFW was really low, but since prices became enticing it's at 11k+ for August-October.

PVB seems more in a pattern. ~71k-~80k over last 6 months.

If DVC wants to make sure Riviera is sold out by the time LSL goes on sale, there is a simple time tested solution. Starting in June of 2026 give some massive sale concessions. The question is not if they could sell out Riviera by December of 2026, but do they really care?

Maybe they start sooner. Unless PVB has a similar deal, sure looks like Riviera could see a fair amount of points sold at those prices.

I’m missing the first wave cruise by a sailing 😵‍💫 we considered it but I think it doesn’t stop at both private islands? Anyway, probably for the best as I don’t actually want to own at any of those resorts but I would be tempted by that pricing…

I am feeling a little annoyed that the member cruise discounts were very stingy compared to this—but we had an amazing cruise so I’m just going to let it go.

We cruised 13 times.
To us, it's the best of both worlds.
Im at 9, I need to complete one more to be platinum! I want it to be on one of the newer ships or possibly wish! I got covid when we went on wish and lost all taste after the first day so I def need a redo!

Most of my sailings have been on the wonder and magic since we like to go to different countries and not just the Disney islands. My favorite ship so far is the dream!

I agree!! It’s my top cruise line to sail!!
I wont go on any other, we tried Norwegian and it was def not our cup of tea!

When I was a teenager we did carnival and I thought it was the best thing ever (probably cuz we went to Mexico and its the first time I was able to drink 🤣🤣) but Im Not sure i would feel that way now.

I liked the adult comedy (on Norwegian too) and thats my only complaint about dcl really aside from the fact i wish they went to way more countries. I think the adult shows should actually be more for adults and not so PG.

We have almost been convinced to try royal carribbean but I feel like I would miss Disney

My ex and the kids did a Viking river cruise to hit some of the Holiday markets, on the Budapest -> Passau route. My ex is a big DCL fan, and by all reports they really enjoyed it.

I used to say a river cruise was the only cruise Id go on since the shore is close. Well Disney finally got me and we will cruise in April, hoping I dont feel the need to jump over board, no shore nearby..

I think you're going to really enjoy it! If animators palate is a restaurant on your ship, that one is the coolest imo (from the classic ships)

I always call and request the dining rotation for my favorite restaurants. Its not about the food More so the experiences that make animators special (i wont ruin it) and i do actually like the food there better come to think of it.

So depending on how long your cruise is you will go to some restaurants more than others so I always ask for animators to be first and theyve always honored it! Im not a marvel fan so I made sure that one was on a day where id only have to go once

Oh and there's a website that shows the daily navigator and the restaurants with the menus.

The menus never change so you can plan around that too because I know you have some dietary restrictions they are also very accomodating.

I love the pasta pursettes appetizer at animators and since everyone rotates restaurants they have it on a different day than when you already had it so if you ask they can probably get it for you the next time your at animators palate or even at a different restaurant esp with dietary restrictions!

They do it for me and I asked for the pasta to be a main dish instead and they gave me more and made it happen!

This is the website https://disneycruiselineblog.com/personal-navigators/

You can find a cruise with the same itinerary as yours and same ship that just happened and have access to the menus and entertainment schedule so you can plan out your trip accordingly!
