Anyone have any experience with them? We are needing some new furniture and my husband wants to go check them out. I want to prepare myself....

I am interested to know for my mom. I asked this a few weeks ago and either it got erased or it disappeared by no one answering.

I'm interested too so I'm giving this a bump!

Isn't there something like a $5000 membership fee?
I read up on them once. If I remember correctly, you have to decide then & there if you are going to join. No going home & thinking about it.....to compare prices.

You would have to be doing ALOT of buying for it to be beneficial.

OK, really quick google search turned up this. I'm sure you'll find more just like it.

Yes - it is thousands of dollars. I went for the "tour". You do have to decide right then. I am wary of anything that does not allow you to go home and think about it. There has to be a reason they don't want you to think about it.

I went prepared with items that I wanted so I could compare prices that I had already checked. I was buying a new home and needed a lot of stuff.I found nothing that I couldn't purchase for less elsewhere.

They also make a big deal about how you are not limited to just a few items in a manufacturer's line - that you get the full scope of the product line. Not true at all.

One item that I was looking at was a Brother embroidery machine. They only carried ONE model from about 10 that Brother offers. It was the very, very bottom of the line, and it was $300 MORE than it cost at Walmart.

I did not find them to be worth while at all. No one in my tour group bought in.

I work w/ 2 people who are members. One brags all the time about everything she does so I won't go into her comments, except to say that she thinks it is the greatest Yada, Yada.

The other joined right before redoing her kitchen. $4500 to join, for 3 years. She had saved the $4500, in her kitchen remodel, so she has broken even, and feels that it was a good deal. I value her opinions much more.

I am so glad you started this thread. They are advertizing a lot and I was wondering if it would be worth it for a kitchen remodel, etc. This thread has answered that question.
