Direct bus from Studios to MK. Dependable?

we will be traveling between the Studios and MK. How frequent does the bus between the two run? I had planned on just getting a bus to CR or GF. I didn't know they had a direct line.

All Disney buses run on an approx every 20 min schedule.

the times i went on buses between parks and i takes way longer than the resort buses take.

We were there in February and park hopped quite a bit. I don't remember having any issues with long waits. One morning we left AK around 915 (EMH morning) and thought we may wait forever since it was early and other parks were just opening but it was maybe 15.

And next trip it could be the total opposite. All buses hope to be on a 20 min schedule. They rarely are, they vary both shorter and longer.

Yes I go a lot and for the most time they run every 20 minutes I would plan on an hour to go between parks or any where in Disney

You could always hop on the bus to the Contemporary and then walk to the Magic Kingdom.
