It's kinda lowbrow chow, but IMO, this is the all time Dip Master:

Cream Cheese Rotel Sausage Dip

1 lb. Jimmy Dean mild sausage
2 sticks of Philly cream cheese
1 can Rotel

Brown sausage and drain. Add cream cheese and Rotel dip. Stir until well-mixed (will actually look a little pink...don't be scared but go with it, it's awesome!). Serve with tortilla chips.

What's Rotel?

HIDDEN VALLEY FIESTA RANCH. Best dip EVER. Just mix with sour cream I think. So so SOOO good!

I just made this Sunday for a First Communion gathering. It sounds weird but it is really good!!!

Corn Dip

2 Pkgs cream cheese
1 pkg Ranch dip seasoning
1 can corn (drained)
1 sm. can chopped olives
1 sm can diced green chiles (drained)

Mis together a day ahead and chill until time to serve.

Crock Pot Reuben Dip. I got this recipe online, but it seems close to the one I use.

1 cup sauerkraut, drained
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 (6 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
6 ounces diced corned beef
2 tbsp. Thousand Island Dressing
PREPARATION:
Drain and rinse sauerkraut, mix with cream cheese and Swiss cheese. Add diced corned beef and Thousand Island dressing. Cover and heat on low until cheeses are melted, stirring occasionally to blend all ingredients. Serve warm with crackers or cocktail rye bread.

Wow! These all sound so good. It's going to be a great dipping summer for me. :cool1: :cool1: Thanks everyone.

Soften 3 bars of cream cheese (8 oz)

Buy 3 large or 6 small sliced pimentos (in a jar, usually in the pickle section but sometimes in the mexican sections, depends on the market)

Drain the water from the pimentos and add them to the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl.

Using your mixer, mix the cream cheese and pimentos on low... add a touch of garlic SALT (not powder) to taste and a little bit of milk to thin it out...

Refrigerate and you are good to go!!

I have no idea where this came from but it was in my ex-hubby's family for years. It's always a hit when I take it to work!

Enjoy the party!!!

You guys are awesome!!! :yay: I am absolutely trying out some of these really soon!!

The only dip I usually make for veggies is the Knorrs dip. I buy the veggie soup mix (powder) and mix with sour cream. B-O-R-I-N-G, if you ask me.

I have actually made the Tastefully Simple spinach & herb dip, but I ran out of the mix and haven't ordered any more. :rolleyes2

Thanks, OP....for posting!!

I make this all the time and it is SOOOOOO good!

My fave chip dip:

1 block cream cheese
1 large and one small sour cream
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch powdered mix.

Mix these three together (a beater does it great...but by hand is good, too. Just soften the c. cheese a bit).

Spread on a platter.

Top with:

1 - 2 Chopped scallions
2 Chopped green peppers
2 Chopped tomatoes
1 bag of cheddar cheese.

Serve with chips.

YUMMMMMMO!

This is excellent, too:

Ingredients:
1 avocado
1 cream cheese package
1 cup sour cream
1 Tbsp Worcestershire
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp season salt
1 tsp celery salt
lettuce
tomato
green pepper
cheddar cheese

Directions:
Mix together first 7 ingredients. Spread on plate and top with remaining ingredients. Serve with chips.

I love spinach dips here a few of my faves.....

Baked Spinach fiesta dip

Ingredients:

1 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup chunky medium salsa, well drained
10 ounces frozen chopped spinach, thawed
2 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
8 ounces Light cream cheese, cubed
1/2 cup light cream
1/2 cup sliced black olives
1 cup chopped pecans
Directions:

Saute the onion in oil in a medium skillet over medium heat until tender. Add the salsa. Drain the spinach and squeeze dry. Add the spinach to the skillet. Cook for 2 minutes. Pour the mixture into 1 1/2quart baking dish. Stir in 2 cups of the Monterey Jack and the cream cheese, cream and olives. Sprinkle with the pecans. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes longer. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup Monterey Jack. Serve hot with tortilla chips

This recipe for Baked Fiesta Spinach Dip serves/makes 10.

Spinach bread bowl

serve this dip in hollowed out marble bread boule and with crackers

INGREDIENTS:
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 envelope dry vegetable soup mix
1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
3 green onions, chopped

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DIRECTIONS:
In a medium bowl, mix together spinach, sour cream, mayonnaise, dry vegetable soup mix, water chestnuts and green onions. Cover and chill in the refrigerator approximately 2 hours before serving.

1 lb Velveeta
1 lb brown and serve sausage (the one that comes in the roll)
16 oz salsa (pick your preferred hotness)

Brown up the sausage in a frying pan, melt the velveeta in the microwave
When Velveeta is hot and melted, mix in the salsa and the sausage
Serve with crackers or tortilla chips

How about the good ole standby ranch dip. Hidden Valley Ranch Dip mix stirred into a pint of sour cream. Great with crackers and or veggies

A co-worker just brought this one in, last week....

Take a block of cream cheese and smear it into the bottom of a microwaveable dish. Top with a can of chili (no beans seems to heat better) and top with shredded cheese.

Then stick it in the micro before serving, until shredded cheese is melted. It was FABULOUS! :woohoo:

My all-time favorite dip:

1 can Frito Lays Jalapeno Cheddar Dip
1 can chili (no beans)

Mix together and microwave until hot. (Or, you can put it in a small crock pot.) Serve with tortilla chips.

Also EXCELLENT on hot dogs!

Thanks for the other recipes. I'm going to try some of them at my 4th of July picnic!

Have you ever made the Knorr's Vegetable soup dip that is on the package with Spinach? That is my all time favorite but I think I leave out the red peppers, if it calls for that.

Made from the recipe on the side of the Knorr Vegetable box. This dip is always a huge hit and I serve it in a bread bowl. Very easy!!
