Does anyone have any good ideas for a book report / diorama for my DD 2nd grade project? She went through all the books in her room and can't decide (she's narrowed it down to about 50!) I personally wanted her to do "Diary of a Worm" and bring in a shoebox full of dirt with a rubber worm! ;)
Thanks for any help!
PS- to all you perfect Disser parents I'll preflame myself for you: I know it's HER project!:lmao:

Why not crushed oreo cookies and gummie worms in clear plastic cups for the whole class.

DMom just read The Boy Who Lived on Fairfield St to DNephew's second grade class yesterday. It's a biography of Dr. Seuss, and would Diarama easily (little boy with Seuss drawings and animals, maybe a Dartmouth logo or some internet pictures of his memorial in Springfield).

Hmm..I'm trying to remember what I did for book reports/dioramas/etc at that age and I can only think of one. It was the biography of Milton S. Hershey, the chocolate maker. I had all sorts of pamphlets, etc that I'd gotten from Hershey's PR dept and I gave out little bags of Hershey's Minis to the class. :)

Why not one of Walt Disney and diorama of the fire house were he stayed at DL with the light in the window as a memorial to him (disney addictated)

DS did his 2nd grade diorama/book report on Caps for Sale

Raided SIL's scrapbook room for cool paper to line the inside of the box, he cut monkeys out of another couple of sheets of paper and hung them in a tree he made with a TP tube (painted brown) and put green pom poms on for leaves. Got another sheet of scrapping paper with hats and caps on it, he cut them all out, and scattered them all over the diorama, and stuck in one of his action figures as the Cap Salesman.
